Leading Mobile seller in India Nokia announced to launch its new services in association with New India Assurance to safeguard its mobile users against risks of loss and damage of mobile phones.

A New insurance plan introduced along with purchase of Nokia handset for Rs.50 or 1.25% on cost of device. The Nokia Company planned to start this scheme from Delhi and NCR, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Cochin and Bangalore across the country through its Nokia branded Nokia retail outlets.

Mobile users can avail this service while purchasing branded Nokia mobile phone after submitting necessary documents like identity proof (Adhar or Voter ID card or Driving License). After purchasing Nokia mobile phone user device insurance will cover damage caused by dropping, accidental circuitry damage via fluid entry, deliberate damage by third party, burglary and theft, loss of device due to riots, strikes and other malicious acts.
