Prepaid subscribers Outgoing calls restricted for eight hours in BSNL North India Zone Circles

Northern Zone Circle Prepaid subscribers in Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Uttarpradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan BSNL subscribers restricted to make out going calls for about eight hours due to some technical problems raised in BSNL Intelligence Network (BSNL IN) department.

BSNL Principal General Manager of Ludhiana (PGM L) clarified that, due to technical problem in IN section BSNL Prepaid Plans subscribers only limited to receive Incoming calls and SMS while BSNL Postpaid Plans and Closed user Group (CUG) customers are not affected to make calls.

Technical problem arose at about 10 am in the morning and rectified at about 6 pm evening. The prepaid subscribers of UT Chandigarh, Uttarpradesh, Himachalpradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab telecom circles badly affected, it took about eight hours to rectify the technical problem located at BSNL IN department of Banglore.
