BSNL introduced Free Prepaid SIM offer under 32K/64K for Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY).

Indian Government started motivated mega scheme siding in favor common man to end financial un-touchability providing bank accounts, insurance and a debit card for all eligible poor people across the country. In this connection all the major Telecom Companies, Nationalized Banks are taking part in this new Government plan by providing mobile connections and mobile banking services.

Most trusted telecom brand Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) announced Free SIM cards under 32K/64K in Prepaid plans mobile services comes with validity for 90 days under promotional basis across the country.

Speaking with media, Union minister of Law and Justice, Communications and IT Ravi shankar Prasad, “Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) is the greatest inclusive programme ever happened in the country where 90 crore people have mobile connectivity and Center to provide access to banking through mobile phones.

“People should have to the government on their mobiles, “minister said, and appealed to BSNL staff and others to promote and encourage that each household take up the benefit of the game changing initiative.
Under this scheme center target is to provide universal access to banking facilities with basic banking, Rupay debit card with inbuilt accident insurance cover of Rs.1lakh and Rupay Kisan card, Micro insurance and pension would be added in the next phase.

BSNL offering Free SIM card for every new customers who approach BSNL outlets (CSC) with newly opened bank accounts in Nationalized Banks under Prime Minister’s Jan-Dhan Yojana to avail this scheme would get 32K or 64K Prepaid plans sim at free of cost. Customers should submit their POI and POA with CAF at the time of activating new SIM. Plan charges will be applicable for customer available while taking new SIM.
The above scheme will be implemented with effect from 08-09-2014 available for period of 90 days.
