BSNL revised the General Landline Tariff Plans and Increased Free calls in Rural and Urban from 1st May, 2016

PAN India BSNL Services has announced the revision of existing Landline plans in Rural / Urban areas in all Telecom Circles under Landline services.
BSNL revised General Landline tariff for Rural and Urband plans

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) under rationalization of BSNL tariff under Landline services according to the 43rd Amendment of TRAI (Telecom Regularoty Authority of India) Instructions / Guidelines from time to time has revised the existing Landline general tariff plans in Rural and Urban areas from 1st May, 2016 onwards.

As per latest information, BSNL existing Landline plans of Rs.140, Rs.160, Rs.195 in Rural areas and Landline plans Rs.180, Rs.220, One India 220 and Sulabh plan Rs.110, Rs.140 FMC (Fixed Monthly Charges) rates are increased upto Rs.20/- in all Telecom Circles. Simultaneously, BSNL has increased number of free calls from 20 to 30 per month except Sulabh plan.
  • Under Rural General Landline plan the existing FMC 140 offering 75 free calls on BSNL network revised to FMC 160 offering 95 free calls on BSNL network.
  • Existing FMC Landline Rural FMC 160 plan now available at revised rate FMC 180 and existing free calls 75 revised to 95 on BSNL network.
  • Existing FMC Landline Rural FMC 195 plan now available at revised rate FMC 220 and existing free calls 100 revised to 125 on BSNL network.
  • Existing FMC Landline Urban FMC 180 plan now available at revised rate FMC 200 and existing free calls 90 revised to 110 on BSNL network.
  • Existing FMC Landline Urban FMC 220 plan now available at revised rate FMC 240 and existing free calls 110 revised to 130 on BSNL network.
  • Whereas, One India FMC 220 Landline plan now available at revised rate FMC 240 and existing free calls 110 revised to 130 on BSNL network.
  • Outgoing barred – Incoming Landline plan Sulabh FMC 110, FMC 140 revised to FMC 120 and FMC 150. In this plan on specific request for making outgoing calls charges Rs.1.20/- MCU for both Local/STD.

However, the existing Installation charges of Rs.550/- for Rural Landline plans revised to Rs.600/- and Installation charges for Urban Landline plans is unchanged Rs.600/-.

The above revision will be implemented with effect from 1st May, 2016 onwards under Landline tariff plans.

All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
