BSNL 3G services has announced the launch of new Data STV and also rationalized existing 3G Data STVs under Prepaid plans mobile services.
State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) revised the existing 3G Data STVs tariff and validity used for Prepaid plans mobile services from 20th April, 2016 onwards across South Zone Telecom Circles.
As per latest information, first to give additional benefit to its Prepaid plans customers BSNL introduced new 3G Data STV of Rs.241 offers 1.2GB free data usage with validity of 30 days which was launched in all South Zone Telecom Circles.
Simultaneously, BSNL also rationalized the existing 3G Data STVs of Rs.53/56/57, Rs.68, Rs.155, Rs.198, Rs.239, Rs.292 and Rs.451 which are running successfully in South Zone Telecom Circles of Andhrapradesh, Andaman Nicobar Islands, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamilnadu.
Under this rationalization of tariff, BSNL has reduced the validity of existing data STVs like – Data STV 68 (from 2 days to 1 day), Data STV 53/56/57 (from 27 days to 21 days), Data STV 155 (from 18 days to 15 days) and Data STV 198 (from 28 days to 24 days), but for Data STV 292 BSNL increased validity from 28 days to 30 days i.e 2 days extended for Prepaid plans mobile customers. Whereas for Data STV 239 and Rs.451 the talk time offering Rs.100/- is reduced to Rs.80/- with unchanged tariff and validity.
* Data STVs 239 and Rs.451 can only be activated/recharged through Flexi/Easy Recharged channels i.e SMS/Self care portal activation is available to all Data STVs except Data STVs 239 and Data STV 451.
# The above given Data STVs MRP rates are not available as usual but the slight change in MRP with same features according to the technical feasibility and available in each Telecom Circle. The Data STVs available in each Telecom Circles at different MRP rates with a margin adjustment of Rs. + / -2 to 3 revision is applicable .
The above revised tariff under rationalization of BSNL Prepaid Services will be implemented with effect from 20th April, 2016 onwards.
All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
