State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to extend newly introduced Student Special plan to all existing prepaid users, where other prepaid plan customers can migrate to Student special plan.
As per latest information, BSNL competent authority based on the overwhelming response from BSNL subscribers the PSU has decided to allow other prepaid user to migrate from their existing prepaid plan to Student special plan on PAN India basis.
Recently BSNL introduced special designed Prepaid plan Student special prepaid plan for students exclusively for New and MNP (Mobile Number Portability) Port-in customers. Now, the existing prepaid mobile subscribers are allowed to migrate to the ‘Student Special’ plan.

Whereas, users from other prepaid plan to student plan migration is allowed without 1GB free data usage and free bundled Topup of Rs.10 with full talk value.
Customers can migrate to 'Student Special mobile plan' on recharge of Plan Voucher of Rs.118/- or through Selfcare by sending SMS to 123 as PLAN(space)STUDENT (an amount of Rs.102.61/- will be deducted from the main account balance.)
The above facility will be implemented with effect from 28th September, 2016 onwards in all Telecom circles.
Note: The date of implementation may vary in each telecom circle.
All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
