BSNL Offering Free E-mail address in 8 Indian languages for Broadband users

Free email ID bharat for Broadband customers
High-speed Broadband internet service provider BSNL to empower its 89.54 million customers is offering free linguistic email address.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launches free linguistic email address to its Broadband customers @ free of cost through Data Mail services in all Telecom Circles.

As per latest information, BSNL competent authority has decided to offer free of cost email address services in 8 Indian languages including Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and Marathi to its existing broadband users. The linguistic email service offered by BSNL will have (Data One.Bharat) domain and email address will be offered through Data Mail services.


BSNL broadband customers can download Data Mail @ free from any Android or iOS system through their respective play store.

In a statement BSNL CMD Shri Anupam Shrivastava said, ‘Providing the linguistic email address is one of its kind initiative in the world to achieve our Prime Ministers Vision of Digital India. It’s now possible in every part of India to have an email address in their own language and communicate in preferred language’.

Govt.of.India had launched (Dot Bharat) domain in Indian languages to increase the reach of internet users by providing domain names in their own launguages so as to cover over 70 percent of the country’s population living in the rural and remote areas.

BSNL Govt.of India enterprise to fulfill the digital India scheme launched free linguistic email address service for its millions of customers is another strong step on fulfilling the dream of digital India.

Now, BSNL Broadband users will be able to open an email ID in DataMail service in their own language.
