BSNL has announced on the eve of Independence day 15th August a gift plan to our Defence brothers as Rakshak Postpaid plan to allthe Armed forces (Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Airforce, Coast Guards, BRO etc.,) personnel.
The details of RAKSHAK (Postpaid) plans is mentioned below.
Activation charges for both numbers: FREE
Security Deposit for Local & STD Facilities : NIL
Total Fixed monthly charges for both numbers in Rs: 299
Freebies per month for each number : As per plan 99
a) Local voice calls (On-net) : 75min
b) STD Voice calls (On-net) : 75 min
c) Local/National SMS : 100 SMS
Local/STD voice calls between these two numbers shall be free to the extent of 450 Min/month/number. Beyond this limit, the call rates applicable between these two numbers (Rs./Min) : 0.20
Local/STD Voice call to Any Network (Rs./Min) : 0.49
O/G voice call (Local/STD) while National roaming (Rs./Min) : 0.49
I/C voice call for main number while roaming in BSNL Network: FREE
Local/National SMS charges (Rs/SMS) : 0.49
Local/National SMS charges while National roaming Rs/SMS : 1.49
All other charges not covered above : As per Plan-99
Applicability : 2G & 3g
Under this plan, two Normal SiMs (Main SIM and Home SIM) will be issued/Activated from the same CSC of the Circle and bill payments can be made in the home cirlce. In case of specific request from customer for USIM, Rs.59 will be charges for USIM.
FMC of Rs.299 is the total fixed monthly charges for two postpaid connections. All tariffs applicable for amin number, except incoming call while roaming will be the same for homw number.
Armed force personnle using BSNL connection and Port-in customers will also be allowed to activate the special plan subject to verification of credential.
The credential of the Armed Forces personnel is to be verified before activating the plans by taking a photocopy of his Identity card issued duly attested by his controlling officer.
Self certificate indicating that no other connection is active in his name under this special plan nay where in India is also to be taken.
The above special plan any where in India is also to be taken.
The above special plans may be allowed for acctivation through BSNL CSC only.
The above tariff will be implemnted with effect from 11-07-2011.
