Examing BSNLs SMS packs i.e STVs got its more popularity while when compare to Voice STVs. Now BSNL innovatively started few months ago of activating STVs via SMS.
Every customers wants to save their own money certain amount and spend on emergency basis.
BSNL has offered one more option to all its customers to earn money via STVs on its special service called Self-care.
Through this facility subscribers can recharge their accounts with a Special Tariff voucher ( STV ) by avaling thier net balance.
This Self care service started a month ago in which a customer willing to activate different plans and balance get deducts from their main account after activating STVs.
Generally when a customer of other operator recharges a STV via SMS services its Deducts the whole MRP value which included service tax also from the main account balance but, when comes to BSNL it is quiet different. BSNL charges for the STV excluding the Service tax of 10.3% + Education cess respectively.
It means when a customer recharges a STV via SMS the MRP value of STV Rs.13 minus Service tax the net face value Rs.11.60 of the card will be deducted from the main account balance. This serves all the customers to earn money indirectly. This feature works competatively along with the private operators who are serving activation of various special packs through SMS/USSD facilities to its customers.
When overall observes the benifits are more, there is no need to run to outlets of BSNLTARIFF and retailers of BSNL.
Procedure to send SMS:1) Send SMS ‘HELP’ to 52244 (which is free of cost) and the customers will get a list of available STVs along with the price and detailed vouchers list.

2. To avoid duplicity of recharge of same STV, a special care has been taken that subscriber can recharge the same STV only once on the same day even if he send SMS more than once.
3. To benifit maximum profit it is better to go for higher denomination recharges Just like Rs 5500 etc in which cutsotmer will get bsnltalk time of Rs. 6000 and validity of 450 Days and use this balance to recharge your choice of STVs.
