Restriction on bulk SMSs, MMSs lifted with immediate effect

The Indian Government earlier announced imposing of ban on bulk SMSs and MMSs for 15 days then after limiting SMS from 5 to 20 SMS per day fixed closing date of August 31.
The Telecom Ministry has decided to lift the restriction on SMSs and MMSs with immediate effect. Now the Mobile users can easily send unlimited text messages and MMS to their beloved ones with immediate effect.

Especially pressure is coming from the education institutions about sending student attendance and their performance details intimating via text messages.
Educational institutions have mentioned that their daily activities are interrupting due to imposing ban (Restricting 20 SMS per day) bulk SMSs.
