BSNL Extending 3G services in Semi-urban areas to meet demand

Leading Telecom Operator in India Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is planning to extend its 3G services in semi-urban areas in the district on demand received from various telecom units of Telecom Circles.

A huge demand of BSNL 3G services requested from various Telecom Circles and to meet the requirement BSNL is planning to erect 47 more towers in the semi-urban areas would provide additional services of broadband in the surrounding areas besides connectivity in speed.
Recent report says most of the customers from other operators are tuning to BSNL via Mobile Number Portability. Duly two private operators dropped to erect 3G towers and they are failed to provide 3G services in most of the districts even their Installation of 2G service towers in the major districts.
