CBI Filed case on Airtel, Tata and Singapore Telecom

The Most dependable Investigation Department in India Central Bearau of Inverstigation (CBI) has filed case against on three giant Telecom Operators, Singapore Telecommunications Limited, Bharati Airtel Limited, Tata Communication Limited on the basis of Complaint received from Ministry of Communication and Information Technology for purportedly committing illegalities in Providing International Long Distance (ILD) services and causing a loss of Rs.48 Crores to the Government.

By observing the complaint of Department of Telecommunications that Singapore Telecommunications Limited was selling ILD services to customers in India since 2004 without getting licence from DOT and in participation with Airtel and Tata Telecoms. 
The agency has registered cases on the above three Telecom companies under section 120B (criminal conspiracy) and 420 (cheating) of the Indian penal code with section of Indian Telegraph Act.
