Reallocated Mobile numbers disturbing new Mobile subscribers

One day my friend went to customer service center and purchases a sim and he is very happy for getting Fancy number (Some what) by activating new sim and using it. Suddenly few calls are disturbing him and frequently coming to his mobile don’t understand just now bought new sim and I never told anybody about my new number from where-else these calls are repeating. After lifting frequently coming call from other side person asking somebody and he tried convincing the caller he wasn’t the person the caller wanted, but that person shouted that he is ignoring him and saying as wrong call.

This is repeating daily and he contacted to customer care their technical persons explained he had a number that was used before somebody. As per Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, unused number left for three months will be disconnected (Deleted on Telecom Server) and reallocated to new customers. The new users don’t know that they have allocated a disconnected number used by someone earlier.

Leading Telecom operators are facing shortage of SIM cards, there are more than 800 million mobile subscribers in the country and new customers are adding after purchasing tablets, smartphones and Data cards or switching to from one operator to another via Mobile Number Portability. The Only solution is to solve the problem of shortage of SIM card is ‘Reallocation of Mobile Numbers’.

Reallocated numbers creating disturbance to new customers and job is to explain callers that he/she wasn’t that person the caller wanted.
Recently this blog posted about Ways to avoid mobile number deletion and are the conditions mobile users should sustain.
