BSNL to be Shutdown ‘Telegram Services’ from 15th July, 2013

Telecom backbone and Leading Telecom Public Sector Unit Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced here to Shut down their 160 years old ‘Telegram Services’ across India from next month of 15th July, 2013.

By seeing today’s advanced technology sending information in seconds i.e Email, and SMS. Most of the people are using Mobile phone for sending news to their relatives or friends within seconds through SMS services and at the same time people are also using Email services through Internet. The demand for 'Telegram Services' gradually declined and the Employees posted for Telegram services have no work to do.

In the earlier days the people used Telegram Services for sending urgent news Sad or Good to their dear one's. Telegram services performed well services in delivering urgent news to the people/offices immediately.

BSNL Competent Authority has decided to Close the Telegram services across India due to dropping of revenue and importance. 2 months back BSNL has withdrawn ‘Telegram Services’ for overseas communication.
