BSNL revised charges for External Shifting of Landline phone and Name Transfer

Public Sector Unit Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) introduced new scheme for Basic/Landline phone customers across Tamilnadu Telecom Circle.
The BSNL Competent Authority of Tamilnadu announced scheme of External Shifting of Landline and Transfer of Name of Landline phone for Tamilnadu Circle Customers.

Currently no charges applying BSNL for shifting Landline Connection, Change of Landline Plan, Change of Broadband plan and Name Transfer at anywhere in India. Now, BSNL Competent Authority has decided to revise the free services offered to customers and charge Rs.200 for Name Transfer, Rs.300 for Shifting of Landline Connection across Tamilnadu Telecom Circle.

BSNL not charging anykind of charges for Change of Landline and Broadband Plans, it’ll remain the same. This scheme applicable to ‘Where the request for shifting of subscribers Landline is complied within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of request from the customer and there is no charges, in case the shift is not completed within 15 days.

The charges details for External Shifting of Landline and Name Transfer are here under given below:

• Change of Broadband (BB) Plan: NIL
• Change of Landline Plan: NIL
• External Shifting of Landline phone: Rs.300/- per shift
• Name Transfer: Rs.200/- per occasion

The above scheme already implemented in Tamilnadu Telecom Circle from 01-04-2013.
All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
