70,000 new subscribers have migrated from Private Network to BSNL through MNP

Strong Competition in Telecom Sector State Run Telecom Company has retained expectations of public across Tamilnadu Telecom Circle for becoming one of the favorite Mobile operators in India.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Chairman and managing director said, ‘We have 70,000 new Mobile subscribers who migrated from other operators as we have several advantages like transparent billing and excellent network coverage with high speed broadband plans. In this financial year we have increased our revenue by 5.2 per cent”.
He also added that, BSNL Tamilnadu Telecom Circle has 16 lakh landline connections and 79 lakh mobile customers. We earn an annual revenue of Rs.2000 crore per year whereas Chennai Telephone District contributes Rs.1,000 crore revenue a year.
