mPassport Seva mobile app launched on Windows, Apple Platforms

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has launched ‘mPassport Seva’ mobile app (application) for Apple iOS and Windows Smartphone platform on Android Services across India. mPassort Seva provides a wide variety of services to track information related about passport status by providing file number-date of birth, passport office location, dispatched, delivery status details and other general information for smartphone users.
This app enables users to find passport related service and related phone numbers in case of queries through various steps. In addition to users using with PIN code can search for a Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) or District Passport Cell (DPC) where passport application can be submitted. 
Not only Indian Citizens the people who are residing overseas who apply for passport service in Indian Mission/Posts can avail this service to find address and other applicable information. A special feature is available on this app to calculate applicable fee for service and mode of submission.
