State owned Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to offer FREE incoming calls to Prepaid and Postpaid customers from 15th June, 2015 while in roaming across the country for a Period of One year.
Already in a press conference Minister of Communications and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad announced, "As always, BSNL has taken lead to announce yet another milestone decision in the larger interest of public which will profit crores of BSNL existing as well as new subscribers. Now BSNL mobile customers will not need to carry multiple SIM cards and handsets during roaming and Home circle. They are now free to talk as long as they want without paying any extra charges in this offer during incoming calls(Free National Roaming). Actually it is like a dream of ‘ONE NATION ONE NUMBER’ come true. This will specially profit the people having transferable jobs, student community, businessmen, Travelers, Pilgrims etc.”
In this connection BSNL has withdrawn all the existing Roaming Special Tariff Vouchers under Prepaid mobile services and FMC plans in Postpaid mobile services.
