BSNL 4G Services ready to launch in 14 Telecom Circles before March, 2016

BSNL is planning to launch its Ultra fast 4G Services in Chandigarh and Jaipur and started testing in Indore and Luknow.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will join the 4G bandwagon and launch the ultra high speed data services on LTE technology by Financial Year 2015-16.
BSNL has surrendered 4G license in six Telecom Circles, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhrapradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Kolkata.

BSNL 4G Wireless Broadband Services will be launching in 2.6GHz spectrum with Gemini Communications as the system integrator. In Indore and Luknow BSNL is testing 4G Proof of Concept (PoC) and after successful PoC results 4G services will be available for customers of Chandigarh and Jaipur before March 2016.

In a statement Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Anupam Srivastava, said, ‘The eco-system for 2.6 GHz is developing fast and soon we are planning to launch 4G services in Chandigarh and Jaipur’. 


BSNL will join the leaguer of 4G operators like Vodafone, Bharati Airtel, Aircel and Reliance Jio is almost ready to launch in this month of December, 2015 or before financial year 2015-16.


This is the one of the great move from the BSNL joining with its data operators like Reliance Jio, Bharati Airtel, Idea Cellular and Vodafone with the 4G LTE technology, combined with its data services on Wimax and WiFi.
