BSNL Broadband raises FUP limit in select districts in the UP (East) Telecom from 1st March, 2016

BSNL has announced to revise Broadband FUP limit in select districts of UP (East) Circle under Broadband services.

Telecom backbone Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has increased FUP limit (Fair Usage Policy) for Broadband plans in selected areas across UP (East) Circle. 


BSNL planned to attract more subscribers and grab more Broadband connections in UP (East Circle) has decided to increase the existing Fair Usage Polity (FUP) limit for selected Unlimited Broadband plans from 1st March, 2016 onwards in selected districts under Broadband services.


The revised FUP limit is almost three times to existing FUP limit and this enhanced FUP limit is applicable to Broadband customers of Allahabad, Kanpur, Lucknow and Varanasi districts of UP (East) Circle.
As well, BSNL also revised the fixed monthly charges (FMC) from Rs.50 to Rs.99 for all its Broadband plans.


BSNL Broadband customers who already subscribed to annual payment option may not be charged with the revised tariff till the expiry of their existing subscription Broadband offers period ends.

The Broadband plans customers (New / Existing) in Azamgarh, Ballia, Banda, Barabanki, Basti, Behraich, Deoria, Faisabad, Farrukhabad, Fatehpur, Ghazipur, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Hamirpur, Hardoi, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Lakhimpur, Mau, Mirzapur, Orai, Pratapgarh, Raibareli, Shahjanpur, Sitapur, Sultanpur and Unnao districts of UP (East) circle are revised as follows:


In this year BSNL is planned to switch-on its 4G services across the country to offer 4 times faster internet services to its customers to compete with other 4G network players in India.


The above Revised FUP limit will be implemented with effect from 1st March, 2016 onwards in selected districts of UP (East) circle for
Broadband customers

All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
