BSNL Mobile is all set to launch its Ultra Fast 100Mbps speed 4G LTE internet services on mobile in Chandigarh of Punjab Telecom Circle.
State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) already announced to launch its 4G LTE services in selected areas of Telecom Circles to offer Ultra Fast 100Mbps Broadband speed internet services to mobile subscribers.
BSNL already published an advertisement in local print media about the launch of BSNL 4G LTE services at BSNL premise in Chandigarh by Sri N.K. Gupta, Director (CFA), BSNL Board.
Except Gujarat Telecom, Kolkata, Maharashtra Telecom, Andhraprades (Telangana) Telecom, Karnataka Telecom and Tamilnadu Telecom BSNL holds 4G Wireless Broadband spectrum across the country.
Further, BSNL is planned to launch 4G LTE services in Jaipur of Rajasthan Telecom Circle. In view of this BSNL is conducting 4G proof of concept (PoC) in Indore and Lucknow in association with Gemini Communication as the system integrator.
In a statement speaking to media Director (CFA) N.K.Gupta said, ‘This soft launch is special for us and providing data services at a high speed is good for the growth of the industry’.
Simultaneously, BSNL is planning to setup around 40000 WiFi hotspots in the coming 3 years and integrating mobile network with these WiFi Services (Hotspots) to cater the heavy data requirement of mobile subscribers.
