BSNL started UPI based digital bill payment services with Federal Bank of India

UPI based payment services with Federal bank of India
In support to Digital India and Make in India BSNL is digitalizing its payment services partnering with banking sectors and eased customers to pay online bill and online recharge from mobile device. 

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) under digitalization of India launches new bill payment services and online recharge system through UPI based payment services in association with M/s Federal Bank.


From time to time updates, BSNL mobile users can utilize this service for payment of bills (Landline / Broadband / Postpaid mobile) and recharge STVs, plan vouchers for Prepaid services etc. BSNL customers need to have one UPI (Unified Payment Interface) virtual ID to avail this service. The procedure for bill payment and recharging mobile voucher step by step procedure as given below:



  • Customer need to Log on to BSNL Portal ( https://portal2.bsnl.in or Use My BSNL App
  • Enter their mobile / Landline details and proceed for payment
  • From the listed payment options, select ‘UPI based payment’ and proceed
  • Enter your UPI Virtual ID and submit
  • Click on notification received in your UPI APP and authorize the payment
  • Payment confirmation will be automatically displayed
BSNL user payment automatically made from the UPI linked bank account and this is easiest way to recharge and pay bills using UPI payment services.

As all you know that using UPI Virtual ID use can easily transfer money from one bank to another bank without having any bank account number and IFSC code. This UPI system based service which is introduced by Government of India to where all the banking services i.e banks are linked to this App and converts any transaction into easiest way for payment of any bills etc.
