BSNL introduced Extension of Plan Validity through SMS sent for Prepaid 2G and 3G customers

India’s most trusted telecom brand Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has started new arena to extend GSM Prepaid Mobile plans validity by using SMS services before expiry of plan under both 2G Prepaid and 3G mobile services.
BSNL Chennai Telephones has implemented this scheme for extending of plan validity through SMS services where BSNL all Prepaid Mobile plan customers can increase their validity simply SMS sent from their mobile without approaching to near by BSNL customer service center or any retail outlet. Pressure free services introduced across BSNL Chennai Telephones competent authority to its valuable customers simplified by SMS expiry date and extension of validity through SMS sent by following below methods.
One week before Prepaid Customer will be intimated through SMS by BSNL before 2-3 days date of expiry plan (before Grace Period-1 starts) in this format before entering into GP1,
Dear Customer, Your plan validity expires on DD-MM-YY. Please get it extended by using plan voucher of Rs…./- immediately”
On obtaining of SMS intimation consent who are having sufficient balance in their prepaid main account for extension of validity 2-3 before expiry of prepaid plan validity.
“Dear customer please send to 53733 for extending plan validity by ….. days with effect from DD-MM-YY by BSNL after deducting Rs……/- from main Prepaid account balance”.
SMS content for those customers not having sufficient balance in their prepaid account, 2-3 days before expiry of plan validity:-
“Dear customer, please recharge your prepaid account and send to 53733 for extending plan validity by ….days with effect from DD-MM-YY by BSNL after deducting Rs…../- from main account prepaid balance”.

Validity extension on 1st day of GP1 (Grace period 1) immediately after the expiry of prepaid plan validity:
The customer who did not extended validity as above are due for entering into GP1 after the expiry of customer plan validity. The customer who are having sufficient balance in main prepaid account can opt this method to extend validity, in the absence of response or inaction by the customer, the plan validity of the customer may be extended on the 1st day of GP1 state after deduction of the plan voucher amount of the existing plan from the account balance and intimated accordingly.
All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
