Public Telecommunications company in India Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited - BSNL has announced that it has decided to scrap the Postpaid 99 Mobile Plan under GSM mobile services of postpaid category. 

In other words, customer unable to continue with the BSNL 99 postpaid mobile plan from further by paying monthly rental bill Rs.99/-. 

However, all the Existing customers with the BSNL 99 mobile plan have already migrated to the next higher plan named bsnl 199 postpaid plan. We have already received inquiries from a good number of BSNL postpaid mobile phone customers regarding this increase in the postpaid mobile bill issued by BSNL this month. (As of October 2021).

One of the most popular bsnl postpaid plans with fixed monthly rental postpaid mobile plan 99/- has been closed and all the existing mobile customers under bsnl 99 postpaid plan migrated to the next higher plan of 199/-.

Postpaid customers under 99 plan shocked when they received double amount monthly bill of october, 2021 with revised rate of Fixed Monthly charges of Rs.199/- with extra GST. 

BSNL postpaid mobile customers who not aware of this revised rental charges of postpaid mobile plan Rs.99 plan received a billing shock this month as they received bills with revised charges. 

BSNL Eros now free subscription for postpaid plans user

Most of them may have already contacted the nearest BSNL customer service centers (BSNL CSC) for clarification on the increased monthly bill amount. The BSNL postpaid mobile bill issued in October 2021 contains an additional security deposit of Rs 100/- as a one-time charge and a monthly fee of 199/- as a fixed monthly fee. 

Therefore, customers who previously received a monthly invoice of only 99/- + GST ​​can get a higher bill amount than Rs.299 + GST ​​in October 2021.

The competent authority has decided that Plan 99 should be removed from the IN server and existing Closed Plan 99 customers automatically be migrated to the lowest active postpaid rental plan 199 with effect from 01-09-2021.

Who can continue with the BSNL 99 Postpaid Tariff Plan?

However, the PSU has also made it clear that any customer who has opted for an annual or higher prepayment scheme on the 99 postpaid tariff plan will remain on the same plan until the end of the advance rental period. Such customers will be migrated to the lowest active plan only after the expected rental period.

New features added to BSNL postpaid plans

BSNL has overhauled its entire range of postpaid mobile plans by launching a series of new tariff plans, namely Tariff Plan 199, Tariff Plan 798 and Plan Tariff plan 999. 

BSNL has introduced the data transfer feature in all postpaid Tariff plans. With the data transfer function, a customer can use unused data from previous months. 

BSNL has also launched FREE Rental Family Connections, where a customer can take advantage of additional FREE connections along with their main BSNL postpaid number. BSNL customers can have a maximum of 3 additional connections with a postpaid mobile number as a FREE family rental supplement.

Enjoy unlimited voice calling with the BSNL Tariff 199 Postpaid mobile Plan

With the BSNL Tariff plan 199 of Postpaid, customer can enjoy True Unlimited voice calls to any network with no Fair Use Policy (FUP) limits or minutes of use. 

Customers can receive 100 free SMS to any network per month and 25GB of high-speed data usage (with a data transfer feature up to 75GB). Free rental family connection is not available with the 199 BSNL Tariff mobile plan.

How to change BSNL Postpaid plan?

There is no need to change or opt for higher rental tariff plan, bsnl already updated on its IN server with nearest bsnl postpaid tariff plan with 199 postpaid plan. All the bsnl postpaid bills will be updated with revised rates adding extra GST and deposit amount.

Public Telecommunications Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited - BSNL has announced free bundled scheme for all existing and new mobile customers of Postpaid plans by offering Eros now entertainment services from 1st July, 2021 onwards.

Public Telecommunications company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited - BSNL has made latest announcement on postpaid mobile plans of the existing postpaid plan 199 which is applicable for all new and existing customers on PAN India basis. 

Based on bsnl latest news updated on its official website bsnl.co.in, BSNL customers in India can enjoy unlimited true voice calls to any network on the postpaid 199 mobile plan with effect from February 1st, 2021.

Under bsnl 199 postpaid plan customer will benefit with NO FUP i.e without any fair usage policy condition can make unlimited voice calls and this true unlimited freebies advantage is applicable to all telecommunication circle customers and there will be FUP limit on the number of minutes of free voice calls made on the 199 postpaid mobile plan. 

Currently, BSNL offering unlimited voice calls to own network (ON-Net) and 300 minutes for other network calls (Off-Net) on the Mobile Postpaid 199 plan. This usage limit for free voice calls will be changed for all existing and new customers on the BSNL 199 plan.

However, the above revision of postpaid tariff plan will be implemented and with effect from 2nd January, 2021 onwards in all telecommunication circles. Existing BSNL 525 plan tariff  plan customers will have chance to avail increased benefit of 85GB of free data with data transfer up to 255GB from December 1st, 2020 onwards. Following the implementation of the "Telecommunications Interconnection Usage Charges Regulations (Fifteenth Amendment), 2019" by TRAI, BSNL has abolished the usage limits of the FUP on all prepaid and postpaid unlimited calling offers. The PSU has launched three new postpaid mobile plans priced at Rs 199, Rs 798 and Rs 999. Furthermore, BSNL has also decided to retire some of the existing postpaid mobile plans which are Plan 99, Plan 225, Plan 325, Plan 799 and Plan 1125 with effect from 1st December 2020 based on PAN India.

NEW Mobile plan Postpaid BSNL 199

Customers who subscribe for Postpaid of BSNL Plan 199 can get unlimited voice calls to BSNL (Own-network) and 300 free minutes for making other network voice calls under freebies benefit. The total data benefits included in this plan 25GB with a data transfer feature up to 75GB (Data rollover facility within the family members). 

It means customers can use their unused forwarded data transfer up to a maximum of 75GB. This package also includes 100 daily free SMS to any network. However, this data rollerover facility is not available in this basic plan of bsnl 199, the company is not included and added to further postpaid plans. 

NEW Mobile Postpaid BSNL 798 plan (1 + 2 connections)

On the BSNL 798 postpaid mobile plan, customers can make unlimited voice calls over any network and will get 50GB of free monthly data usage with data transfer up to 150GB. This package also includes 100 daily free SMS to any network. This package also offers 2 additional connections with unlimited voice calls, 50GB of data and 100 SMS / day separately on each connection.

NEW Mobile plan Postpaid BSNL 999 (1 + 3 connections)

The BSNL 999 postpaid plan also offers unlimited voice calling over any network, 75GB of free monthly data usage with data transfer up to 225GB. The benefit of SMS is the same as this package, it also offers 100 free SMS per day to any network. Customers who opt for this plan can get 3 additional connections absolutely free. Each of these 3 connections (Family Connections) offers unlimited voice calls, 75 GB of data and 100 SMS / day.

REVISED BSNL 399 Mobile plan Postpaid details

The revised BSNL 399 postpaid mobile plan offers 70GB of data with a data transfer feature up to 210GB. There are also 100 free SMS daily to any network with the revised 399 plan. The previous BSNL 399 plan only included 30GB of data. Customers who need complementary family connections can choose any other plan, as this plan does not offer free complementary mobile connections.

REVISED Mobile plan Postpaid BSNL 525 (1 + 1 connections)

Existing BSNL 525 Postpaid Mobile Plan customers will have chance to avail increased benefit of 85GB of free data with data transfer up to 255GB from December 1st, 2020 onwards. Previously, the BSNL 525 plan only included 40GB of free monthly data. An additional free family connection with unlimited voice service is also offered with the revised 525 plan.

REVISED Mobile plan Postpaid BSNL 1525 details

BSNL offers real unlimited data benefits on the 1525 postpaid mobile plan. Customers can enjoy unlimited data usage without Fair usage policy (FUP limit) limits on this plan. Additionally, customers can also enjoy unlimited voice calls and 100 free SMS per day as is the case with other postpaid plans.

Annual / Higher Prepayment offer
Customers can enjoy an attractive annual / higher prepayment option on all postpaid mobile plans as listed above. By paying 11 months of FMC (fixed monthly charges) in advance, customers can get 12 months of service. Likewise, by paying 21 months of FMC in advance, customers can get 24 months of service.

Additional data plans and costs for using additional data
BSNL has limited data usage on all postpaid mobile plans starting December 1st, 2020. Customers who exceed the free data usage limit will be charged Rs 10.24 per GB.

All existing Voice / SMS / Combo / Data add-on packages for postpaid mobile customers have been retired starting 01-12-2020. Those who need additional data benefits can subscribe to the following recently introduced additional data packs.

BSNL will offer cash discounts for 3 months to all existing customers on withdrawn plans of bsnl Postpaid mobile during migration to one of the newly introduced / higher plans. Discount details are provided -

• Cash discount of Rs 25 for 3 months for 99/225/325 plan customers migrating to a higher plan.

Public Telecommunications and networking Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is moving to introduce its large scale 4G operations in India very soon. 

One of the best telecommunications companies in India is known for regularly adding and removing their offers to customers. But with that, BSNL active plans also offers many benefits to its existing customers. BSNL suspended two of its postpaid bill payment plans on July 1, 2020. 

These two postpaid mobile bill payment plans were Rs 725 and Rs 149. Plan 149 was used to offer customers 500MB of data calls worth Rs 100. Whereas, the 725 plan, it came with 50GB of data every month and offered free voice calls along with 100 SMS per month. Both plans now offer existing customers a discounted benefit after phasing out.

BSNL Promotional discount benefit with 725 plan and 149 plan

Customers currently using Plan 725 and Plan 149 have the option to take advantage of the bsnl discount offer. After 3 months of the plan removal date (July 1, 2020), if the customer is still using Plan 149, they will be migrated to Plan 99. There is no automatic migration policy with Plan 725.

But there is a bsnl discount scheme opportunity with both plans for the customer. In the event that the customer quits bsnl 149 plan and opts for a higher FMC (fixed monthly charge) plan, they will receive a limited-time discount of Rs 25 for the next three months on the bsnl postpaid mobile plans. With the 725 plan, if the customer chooses a higher FMC plan, they will receive the benefit of a discount of Rs 75 on the plan for three months.

Top rate FMC plans that BSNL customers can choose from

If the customer wishes to opt for a higher FMC plan from Plan 149, they can choose Plan 225. This is the cheaper alternative to the Rs 149 postpaid plan that customers will receive in BSNL postpaid offers. With this plan, the customer will receive the voice calling benefit of Rs 180 along with the benefit of 100 SMS / day. There is 3GB of high-speed data available which will be reduced to 40Kbps after consumption and this plan costs 225 rupees.

For the customer using the 725 plan, can opt for the 799 plan, which costs Rs 799 per month. With this plan, the customer will receive 100 SMS per day along with free voice calls and free Incoming calls while national roaming. The customer can experience 60GB / month high-speed data benefit, which will drop to 40Kbps once the first 60GB of data is consumed. The SMS charges for the mobile customer while roaming are Rs 0.25.

Public Telecommunications in India Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) withdrew the Rs 149 postpaid plan which offers 100 minutes of free calls to users. The development was highlighted by the telecom tariff website source from BSNL Rajasthan telecom circle on social media platforms.

"Postpaid bsnl plan 149" is among the top 10 postpaid BSNL plans offered in various BSNL circles in India. BSNL allowed users to subscribe to Plan postpaid 149 on a monthly and yearly basis and users also offered an advance payment option method.

With the withdrawal of Post Plan 149, BSNL now offers nine postpaid plans with the basic plan at the price of Rs 99, while the upper level plan has a price of Rs 1525.

BSNL plan 149 offered free calls and data to postpaid users

Post-paid Plan 149 offered 500 MB of free data along with 100 minutes of local and STD calls for users. With 60 seconds pulse rate BSNL Postpaid Plan 149 charging Rs 1 per minute for local calls and STD after the consumption of free limit of voice calls.

While incoming calls were provided free of charge, BSNL applied a flat rate of Rs 0.80 per minute for local calls and STDs when roaming.

In addition, Plan-149 subscribers were allowed to explore unlimited data over 500MB at a reduced speed of 40 Kbps. BSNL also offered 100 SMS per month to Plan 149 subscribers.

The telecommunications bsnl has set an activation fee of Rs 100 for Plan 149 and users must pay a security deposit of Rs 500 to activate local calls and STD facilities. Users who requested the ISD call service were asked to pay Rs 2000 as a security deposit, while users seeking international roaming were charged Rs 5000 as a security deposit.

BSNL offers Rs 25 as credits to users migrating to new BSNL plans

BSNL Rajasthan Circle noted that Plan 149 users will be offered Rs 25 as a discount for migrating to a higher monthly rental plan. The discount would have been offered bsnl bill payment after due date for three months with an offer valid until September 28th (check bsnl bill details).

It should be noted that BSNL offers eight different plans under postpaid services priced above 149 plans. Higher Fixed monthly rental plans are offered in the range of Rs 225 to Rs 1525 and each offers additional free calls and an increase in data availability per month.

BSNL Postpaid customers under plan Rakshak for Central Paramilitary Groups can migrate other plans

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) was introduced Postpaid mobile plan Rakshak for Central Paramilitary Groups like CRPF, ITBP, BSF, BRO etc., and all Armed forces like Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air force cum Coast Guard and all Railway protection force under GSM mobile services.

BSNL according to the 43rd Amendment of TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) instructions / guidelines issued from time to time has decided to withdraw Rakshak Postpaid plan or Postpaid plan for Paramilitary forces which is available across India in all telecom circles BSNL customers service centers. From 1st May, 2018 onwards this plan will not be available to our beloved Central paramilitary groups.

• Under this plan, two SIMs (Main SIM and Home SIM) will be issued / activated from the same CSC of the circle and bill payments can be made in the home circle. In case of specific request from Customer for USIM Rs.59 will be charged.
• FMC of Rs.299 is the total fixed monthly charges for two postpaid connections. All postpaid tariff plans applicable for main number, except incoming call while roaming, will be the same for home number.
• Above personnel using BSNL connection and Port-in customers will also be allowed to activate the special plan subject to verification of credential.
• The credential of the above personnel is to be verified before activating the plans by taking a photocopy of his Identity Card issued duly attested by his controlling officer. A self-certificate indicating that no other connection is active in his name under this special plan anywhere in India is also to be taken.

BSNL has announced the launch of new Postpaid mobile plan named ‘Ghar Wapsi’ with at monthly rental charges of Rs.399 under GSM mobile services on PAN India basis.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launched new FMC  (fixed monthly charges) Postpaid mobile plan ‘Ghar Wapsi @ 399’ offers Unlimited voice calls and limited data usage upto 30GB for postpaid subscribers from 1st march, 2018 onwards in all telecom circles.

As per latest information, BSNL already introduced few affordable and attractive Prepaid mobile plans for Prepaid users and to cover the Postpaid mobile customers has decided to launch affordable monthly rental plan which offers Unlimited voice calls to any network without any daily usage limit and free data usage upto 30GB which is offering nearly 1GB per day. However, this plan doesn’t cover any free outgoing voice calls while in national roaming.

When it comes to comparing with other operators monthly rental plans BSNL’s Ghar Wapsi 399 postpaid plan gives more benefits to its customers. At a glance, Airtel’s 399 mobile plan gives free data usage utpo 20GB with unlimited voice calls, free 100 SMS per day per billing cycle. Vodafone’s 399 plan offers Unlimited voice calls including roaming outgoing calls with limited data usage upto 20GB. Similar, Idea cellular offers Unlimited voice calls including roaming voice calls and 20GB free data usage.

Note: All other tariff and freebies offered with the above Postpaid plan will be as per Postpaid plan 799.

BSNL ‘LOOT LO’ scheme Offering 500% extra data and discount upto 60% on Postpaid monthly rental plans in November, 2017

Most Trusted Telecom brand BSNL has announced the rationalization of Postpaid mobile plan to offer extra data usage and discount on Fixed monthly charges for Postpaid mobile customers in all Telecom Circles.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) revised existing Postpaid mobile plan to offer more data upto 500 percent and 60 percent discount in monthly rental charges from 1st November, 2017 onwards on PAN India basis. 

As per latest information, BSNL to boostup Postpaid mobile segment has decided to offer discount and data usage to Postpaid mobile users. For postpaid bill defaulters, a flat 25 percent discount offering on FMC of pending bills during November, 2017. 
As well, for new Postpaid mobile connection customer BSNL waive off activation and SIM charges during November, 2017.

BSNL Postpaid ‘LOOT LO’ Offer details:

During offer period in November, 2017 pending / disputed mobile bills (more than 4 months) a Flat 25% discount on FMC of pending bill payment, if customer ready to pay ’12 month / 6 month / months’ advance rental.

Terms and conditions:

• This discount is for new connections taken during the month of November 2017. No discount for Plan-99 &145. The discount is for advance rental optional (12 months/6 months/3months) only.
• Existing customers can avail this option, if there is no bill pending for the customer, as well as existing customers may migrate to other plans using this offer also.
• This offer is applicable for retail as well as Enterprise customers.
• The SD (Security Deposit) is waived off for “local+STD" for new connections taken during the month of November 2017 under this scheme of Post-Paid “loot lo" Month offer.
• Activation charges/SIM charges are waived off for new connections taken during the month of November-2017 under this scheme of Post-Paid “loot lo" Month offer.

The above offer will be implemented from 1st November, 2017 onwards in all telecom circles as promotional basis for a period of November month.

BSNL’s Extra Data usage on 3G Postpaid Data plans offer extended further period 90 days

PSU BSNL has announced extension offer for Postpaid users offering extra data usage on 3G Postpaid data plans under Postpaid mobile services.

State run Telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) extended promotional extra data offer on 3G Add-on data plans further period of 90 days with immediate effect as feasibility but not later than 16th May, 2017 in all telecom circles.

As per latest information, BSNL 3G data FMC plans Rs.549, Rs.290 and Rs.365 offering total bundled free data usage for Postpaid users through Add-on packs.

• FMC 3G Postpaid Data plan 549 is offering, Free 16GB data (6GB regular data + 10GB extra data) instead of regular 6GB free data. After completion of 4 months the regular 6GB free data will be continued.
• FMC 3G Postpaid Data plan 290 is offering, Free 9GB data (3GB regular data + 6GB extra data) instead of regular 3GB free data. After completion of 4 months the regular 3GB free data will be continued.
• FMC 3G Postpaid Data plan 365 is offering, Free 12GB data (1GB per month for 12 months). However, the Add-on validity of this scheme will be 365 days.

The above scheme will be implemented with immediate effect as per feasibility but not later than 16th May, 2017. The additional/special data offering with existing and new Add-on data plan will be available for a period of 90 days as promotional basis on PAN India basis.
