BSNL discount for government employees allows upto 10 percent

 

To compete with the private telecom players under bsnl discount offer PSU allows 10% discount to the government employees as promotional basis. 

Public Telecommunications company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited - BSNL has announced that it will review the existing rebate scheme for the government employees of state and central government as well retired employees on Landline, ADSL Broadband and Bharat Fiber Services over FTTH services starting February 1, 2021.

BSNL's 5% discount scheme for government employees applied to both active and retired employees with DSL, WiMax and FTTH broadband services. Now the BSNL authorities have decided to increase this discount to 10% for fixed telephony, broadband bsnl connection and Bharat fiber FTTH customers. This revised discount scheme is applicable to both new and existing customers from 1 February 2021 onwards based on PAN India.

An official statement from bsnl website bsnl.co.in on the revision, the rebate program for government servants reads as follows: "It was decided to increase the discount from the current 5% to 10% for in-service and retired central government / state government / PSU (new and existing customers) on fixed line services, ADSL broadband and Bharat fiber ".

BSNL has already forwarded instructions to the concerned units in all telecommunications circles / local units to publicize this information and convey them about the latest increase of discount scheme in advance. 

The above rebate scheme will be effective from 1st february, 2021 onwards in all Circles / Metro districts. All other terms and conditions will remain the same as in previous circulars.

According to the latest announcement from BSNL, the 10% discount will be available on monthly rent for retired and in-service government employees and PSU employees. This discount can be used by both state government and central government employees.

How do I take advantage of BSNL's 10% Government Employee Discount Plan?

For Working Government Employees: To take advantage of the 10% discount, you can submit an application for a 10% discount under Government Employees / PSU category along with the Certificate of Employment at the nearest BSNL Customer Service Center (BSNL CSC).

For Retired Government employees: To take advantage of the 10% discount, you have to fill-up the discount bharat fiber application form enclosing with a certified copy of your retirement book to the nearest BSNL Customer Service Center (BSNL CSC).

The discount scheme above is applicable to both new and existing BSNL customers with effect from February 1, 2021 in all telecommunications circles. 

Customer should note that this rebate scheme will only be enabled for those customers who have submitted their application under the category of government employee rebate scheme by enclosing the relevant supporting documents as outlined above.

The BSNL government employee discount scheme applies to both new and existing customers throughout India. Install My BSNL app: Offers instant 4% discount to users on prepaid recharge plans of bsnl

 
In view of the Covid 19 coronavirus lockdown, BSNL offers 4% discount to New Install My BSNL app on prepaid recharge plans of bsnl.

Public Telecommunications in India Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has reintroduced its 4% instant discount promotional offer for top-ups made from the My BSNL app.

This offer is valid for My BSNL application users who top up another person's BSNL prepaid mobile account. The offer will be available until September 30th. BSNL Karnataka shared this development through an online circular that also establishes the terms of eligibility.

To remember, BSNL first introduced this offer in late April and said it will last until May 31st. This time, the instant 4% discount is valid for almost three months.

According to the circular shared by BSNL Karnataka, users of the My BSNL app who use the app to top up a prepaid account of another BSNL user will receive an immediate discount of 4%. It establishes that the offer is valid until 30 September.

The circular adds that only users of new apps will receive the discount only once when reloading their account. This means that users who are already registered in the My BSNL application will not receive any discount by reloading their registered number.

Also, by reloading someone else's BSNL number, this offer applies to all prepaid mobile numbers. It's an instant discount, so the user will only be charged the discounted price.

In particular, other service providers such as Airtel, Jio, Vodafone Idea have offered incentives to top up others' phones, probably bsnl on demand from the its customer end has decided to introduce even after running the promotional offer for a month in the past.

BSNL initially launched this 4% instant discount promotional offer by the end of April, but decided to end it before May 31st. This time, the offer will last approximately three months until September 30th.

Recently, BSNL extended the availability of its Work at Home broadband plan until July 26th and reintroduced its Rs. 299 and Rs. 491 broadband plans.

Business telecom and 4G technology provider BSNL has announced launch of new 1 + 1 scheme for present Landline connection customers offering discount from 25% to 50% on 2nd landline phone in all telecom circles under landline segment and implemented with immediate effect on promotional basis for a period of three months.

As per latest information, BSNL recently launched its 4G technology in Karnataka and erstwhile in Kerala circle to compete with new telecom entrant rival Reliance Jio. In this connection BSNL moving strategically in all segments i.e Broadband internet, Landline voice calls and Mobile 4G technology data plans etc.

Under this new 1 + 1 scheme, bsnl will provide 2nd Landline telephone rent free connection to the customers who are having one Landline connection at his/her premises. To encourage Government of India an initiative program ‘Digital India’ BSNL offering discount scheme for FMC (Fixed Monthly Charges) connection customers across India.

 State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to materialize the concept of ‘Digital India’ of Government of India and as an environment friendly measure, it has been decided to ‘Go Green’ in presenting bills to BSNL customers and give a discount on monthly bills in all Telecom circles.

 As per latest information, BSNL introduces new discount scheme for Postpaid customer (Landline, Broadband, FTTH, CDMA, Wi-Max, GSM mobile) offering Rs.10/- per connection for having ‘Go Green’ subscription. 

 In this course, BSNL will take written consent from customers along with email ID and mobile number to send e-bills through services. To reduce the cost of printing bills BSNL has decided to encourage Digital services for sending e-bills to customers email ID and registered mobile number via SMS to avoid delay in physical bills. If customer requires printed bill telecom circle decide and charge amount for hard-copy print bill after taking requisite.

 Customer who subscribes to ‘Go Green’ scheme with mobile number and email ID will receive an Welcome message as follows:

 ‘Welcome to the go green initiative of BSNL you will be receiving e-bills on email id xxxxx@xxxx and message on mobile number xxxxxxxxxx. Printed bills shall be discontinued as per consent given by you. In case of any mistake, please contact telephone / mobile number xxxxxxxxx within 3 days.”

 Hence, BSNL customers are requested to encourage ‘Go Green’ an initiative for ‘Digital India’ scheme opting for e-bills for all BSNL Postpaid connections (Broadband, Landline, FTTH, CDMA, Wi-Max, GSM Mobile etc.) to protect environment.

 State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) at the time of providing new connection to Landline / Broadband / Fiber Broadband (FTTH) connections won’t charge any installation charges, offering 100% Free for new customer subscribing to any fixed line services in all telecom circles from 18th July, 2017 onwards.

 As per latest information, BSNL offering this free installation scheme for a period of One year. All new fixed line (wired) customers of BSNL can avail 100% discount at the time of new connection from 18-07-2017.

 Official report from BSNL, ‘In order to increase Landline/DSL/FTTH connection base, to utilize spare FTTH capacity and to proactively achieve the Landline / DSL / Fiber Broadband (FTTH) connection, the competent authority has decided to launch new offer to waive-off installation charges for the new Landline / Fiber Broadband (FTTH) (Voice/Broadband/Combo)/DSL connection on PAN India basis upto One year’.
The above scheme will be implemented with effect from 18th July, 2017 and offer available in all telecom circles upto period of One year.

BSNL offering monthly rental discount on WiMax Unlimited Broadband plan from 1st June, 2017 onwards

High-speed internet service provider in India BSNL has announced discount on Monthly rental Wimax Unlimited Broadband plan upto 9% under Wimax Broadband services.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) slashes monthly rental of Unlimited Broadband plan of ‘HOWI 825’ upto 9 percent from 1st June, 2017 in Kerala Telecom circle.

As per latest information, BSNL Kerala Circle exclusively offering discount for Kerala telecom BSNL Wimax customers who are under Wimax Unlimited Broadband plan ‘HOWI 825’. After discount customers need to pay of Rs.750 monthly rental for Unlimited Wimax Broadband plan.

Earlier, BSNL revised monthly rental of almost all Wimax broadband plans w.e.f 1st December, 2016 in all telecom circles. At that time BSNL increased monthly rental to Rs.825 from Rs.725. Now, based on customers request and feedback from various units across Kerala circle has decided to slash monthly rental for HOWI 825 plan.

The above revision will be implemented with effect from 1st June, 2017 onwards and available/ applicable for new/existing Kerala circle Wimax Broadband customers only.  

All other terms and conditions will remain the same.

One month rent free offer for new broadband and landline customers
PSU BSNL once again comeup with another attractive offer to grab more connections under BSNL Broadband, Landline and FTTH segments for booking connections through Social media platform.
State run telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to offer One month Free rental for customers who book their Landline, Broadband and Fiber to the Home (FTTH) connection using BSNL Social accounts i.e Twitter , Facebook etc., from 2nd June, 2017 onwards.

 As per latest information, BSNL has announced the launch of special one month rental discount for new customers those who are register their Landline, Broadband and FTTH (Fiber Broadband) connections through BSNL’s Official Social accounts.

 Under this scheme BSNL is offering One month Free high speed Broadband internet service from BSNL which starts from 2nd June, 2017 in all telecom circles. Only New BSNL Landline / Broadband / FTTH connection booking customers are eligible to avail this discount of One month free rental. Users can visit BSNL Social accounts on Facebook and Twitter and book their new connection and get One month free High-speed internet and voice calling without any charges as per BSNL available plans.

 BSNL Promotional offer for booking of new connection through Social media platforms
To promote BSNL services on social media, the competent authority has decided as follows:-
To waive off fixed monthly rental charges under Landline / DSL / FTTH plan for the first month only, for the customers booked through social media (Facebook/Twitter) on PAN India basis on promotional basis for a period of 90 days.
Separate link will be created by BSNL on Social media platforms ( Twitter and Facebook).
The above Promotional scheme will be implemented with effect from 2nd June, 2017 in all telecom circles and available for a period of 90 days.

Large telecom network BSNL has announced discount offer for Landline customers in all Telecom circles under Landline services.

 State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) offers Rs.200 rebate in Landline telephone bill for new connection customers on PAN India basis.

 As per latest information, BSNL Competent authority has decided to offer Rebate of Rs.200/- for subscribers who arrange their own instrument at the time of provision of new telephone connection.

 At the time of new connection customer who owns/arrange their own CLIP (Caller ID telephone instrument) will get Rs200/- rebate in monthly rental of first bill.
Recently BSNL launched lowest monthly rental below Rs.50/- and above Landline plans in all Telecom circles to reach every need to provide better service and offer more benefits to its customers.

 The above offer will be available upto 31st March, 2017 as promotional basis in all Telecom states.

BSNL Customers will get 0.75 percent discount on Online transactions via BSNL Payment Portal or My BSNL App

BSNL has announced special discount offer for Online users who really pay their BSNL bills and Online recharges through My BSNL App or BSNL Payment portal in India.

 State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) offering special discount of 0.75 percent for online bill payments and prepaid recharges using BSNL online website or BSNL app.

 As per latest information, Hon’ble Communication Minister Shri Manoj Sinha said, ‘BSNL, in line with the government's vision of making India cashless society. BSNL’s esteemed customers can now avail a discount / incentive of 0.75 percent on the invoiced amount (excluding Service Tax) while making online or electronic payment before pay by date with effect from December 22, 2016 till March 31, 2017 for postpaid bills - (landline, Broadband, GSM) and GSM prepaid Recharges’.

 BSNL requests all its customers to avail this opportunity and for new customer to support this initiative step from Central Government to make India a cashless society.

 BSNL customers can pay their Postpaid mobile bills, Broadband and Landline bills etc using My BSNL app and Online Payment BSNL Portal.

 The discount offered in this scheme will be reflected in the customers next month bill for postpaid subscribers.

BSNL 100% Cashback offers on ADSL WiFi Broadband Modem extended further period of 90 days from 1st July, 2016

 
BSNL earlier announced promotional 100 percent cashback offer on WiFi Broadband modem has been extended in all Telecom Circles under BSNL WiFi services.
State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) extended WiFi Broadband Modem 100 percent cash back offer from 1st July, 2016 onwards on PAN India basis.

 Based on good feedback from various field units and customers BSNL extended 100% cash back offer announced earlier for Broadband customers as promotional basis for a period of 90 days. In order to increase Broadband customer base, BSNL offering promotional scheme to sale ‘ADSL WiFi modem @ Rs.1500/- with 100 percent cashback’ in all Telecom Circles.

 As per latest information, BSNL competent authority offering 100 percent cash back for all existing as well new Broadband customers of who subscribed under any existing monthly rental Broadband plan of Rs.700/- and above. The customers who purchases WiFi Broadband modem @ 1500/- comes with 5 years warranty support from BSNL will be offered 100% cash back on the above price.


100% cashback offer on BSNL ADSL WiFi Broadband modem details
  • The new Broadband customer who subscribe under any existing Broadband monthly rental plan of Rs.700/- and above, out rightly purchases the ADSL WiFi modem from BSNL @ Rs.1500/- may be offered Rs.100/- cash back per month for a maximum 15 months or till the Broadband connection remain active whichever is earlier.
  • The above cashback amount shall be adjusted in the bill.
  • The above offer shall also be available to those existing BSNL Broadband customers who are having broadband plan with FMC Rs.700/- and above but presently not having the modem or rental basis.
The above extension offer will be implemented with effect from 1st July, 2016 and will available upto 30th September, 2016 for a period of 90 days as promotional basis in all Telecom Circles.

BSNL Offers Free Installation for New Broadband, Landline, Combo and CLSNP customers from 1st May, 2016

 
BSNL has announced 100% discount offer for new BSNL connections under Broadband, Landline, CLSNP and Combo services in all Telecom Circles.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) waives off installation charges upto 100% percent for those who subscribe to BSNL Landline, Broadband, CLSNP (Closed due to Non-Payment) and Combo plan services under BSNL services on PAN India basis.

As per latest information, BSNL has decided to offer discount on Installation charges upto 100% as promotional basis for a period of 90 days from 1st May, 2016 onwards in all Telecom Circles for New BSNL connections. 

This offer would really benefit for those customers who wish to take re-connection of disconnected Landline/Broadband services due to Non-payment of bills. BSNL is offering Free Installation without any extra/hidden charges during this offer period which starts from 1st May, 2016.
BSNL’s Free Installation Scheme for 
New Landline/Broadband connections 
  • For new Landline connection BSNL waives off 100% installation charges. It means installation charges of Rs.600/- (For both urban and rural area customers) will be waived off for new landline connections registered during this scheme.
  • For New Broadband connection BSNL waives off 100% installation charges. It means, installation charges of Rs.250/- (For both urban and rural area customers) will be waived off for new Broadband connections registered during this scheme.
  • For CLSNP (Closed due to Non-payment) customers for re-connection, BSNL waives off 100% installation charges. It means, installation charges for Landline Rs.600/- and installation charges for Broadband Rs.250/- as well for Combo plans installation charges of Rs.850/- will be waived off for re-connection during this scheme.

The above promotional offer will be implemented with effect from 1st May, 2016 onwards and will be available for a period of 90 days upto 29th July, 2016.

BSNL Tamilnadu Telecom Circle Waives off Installation charges for new Landline and Broadband connections

 
By increasing demand for BSNL Landline connections BSNL has decided to Waive installation charges for new Landline and Broadband connections in Tamilnadu Telecom Circle.

State runs Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) offers Free Installation for customers who register for new Landline and Broadband connections across Tamilandu Circle.

Recently BSNL announced Unlimited Free Night calling to any network from BSNL Landline phones on specific plans from night 09:00pm to morning 07:00 am in all Telecom Circles. This offer attracted customer and increased demand for Landline and Broadband connections in all Telecom Circles to maintain this growth BSNL encouraging customers has decided to waive off installation charges under promotional basis (actual installation charges Rs.750) in Tamilnadu Circle for a period of 60 days from 7th September, 2015.
BSNL introduced Combo Unlimited Broadband Plan

Earlier BSNL offered the same free installation for new broadband connections in Rajasthan and Kerala Circles and first 300 Landline new customer in Gurgaon Circle.

Under BSNL Mobile services Free National Roaming offered from 15th June, 2015 to receive free incoming call any where in India and also introduced National Roaming Combo STVs for both voice calls and data usage. In addition BSNL introduced three new Rate-cutter National Roaming STVs for making outgoing calls for Prepaid mobile customers in all Telecom circles.
