BSNL launches Free WiFi services at Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine

BSNL launches Free WiFi Hotspot at maata Vaishno Devi shrine for mobile users.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has started its high-speed 4G WiFi services at Mata Vaishno Devi temple by installing WiFi hotspot in shrine premises for pilgrims under BSNL WiFi Services

Union Minister for Telecom and information Ravi Shankar Prasad launched this 1000th WiFi hotspot and dedicated to the nation providing Free WiFi services to the pilgrims. 


On this occasion minister said, ‘As part of Government’s initiative to modernize BSNL so as to make relevant in the competitive environment which telecom sector is facing currently, the Public Sector undertaking has plans to invest Rs.2000 crore for the upgradation of its network which includes adding another 21000 BTS, a PIB handout’. 


BSNL installed already installed 4G speed Free Public WiFi Hotspot at Kashmir International Airport of Srinagar. As well BSNL running successfully Free WiFi services at Public places and Tourist places across the country. Customers of any telecom operator can access connection to enjoy first 15 minutes Free WiFi internet service at Free of cost. Thereafter, customers have to purchase WiFi Data Topup vouchers for further data usage.
