To do this citizens name must be present in the electoral rolls. Earlier one had to visit local poll booth to verify if his/her name is present in the list but situation has changed and made simple to know polling booth online or by sending an SMS

Type your Voter ID card number or other known details after land in State Election Commission’s page.

Know sending SMS
