South Zone VAS team of M/s Onmobile services offering ‘Dream Big Season One” contest for IVR users across few Circles for a period of 60 days from 30th May, 2019 to 28th July, 2019.


Topup contest details and Participation Guidelines

  • BSNL in association with On Mobile services under Prepaid mobile services conducting “Dream Big Season One” contest for all Prepaid subscribers given a platform to win Rs.One lakh Cash Card, High-end smartphone of Rs.50,000 and Topup recharge card worth upto Rs.60,000 and more.
  • This contest is played on Voice and SMS services where user will be asked General Knowledge based questions utpo 300 out of 350 Total Questions. During this contest period of 60 days daily 5 questions will be asked. Total 5 level of set questions will be played randomly in Multiple choice type. In the first Level set around 50 question will have Free questions asked randomly and all sets have the very very easy questions, First set 1 (60 questions), 2 (60 questions), 3 (60 questions), 4 (60 questions), 5 (60 questions).
  • All questions from all sets will play random and played daily first question engagement will be from set 1 with 2 answer options with pre question text only for 2nd set. During this challenge model contest daily Rs.5 subscription fee will be charged.
  • IVR Contest channel plays on Voice
  • The answer options play as ‘For Option 1 press 1’ and ‘For option 2 press 2’
  • User will be awarded 1 point for each correct answer whereas for Wrong answer 0 point will be credited

Contest Gratification and Prize Wise winner selection criteria

  • All India Bumper Prize (1MSISDN across circles) for highest scorer will be awarded ONE LAKH CASH CARD. The selection for the Bumper Prize will be conducted after the Challenge ends. 1 MSISDN across all Circle group with highest score in the least amount of time, during the challenge will be selected as the winner.
  • Second Bumper Prize (1 MSISDN across Zone) for 2 user Highest scorer will be awarded High-end Smartphone worth Rs.50,000. The selection for the Second Bumper Prize will be conducted after the Challenge ends. 1 MSISDN per Zone group with highest score in the least amount of time, during the challenge will be selected as the winner.
  • Circle Free Bumper Prize (1 MSISDN per circle group) for 10 user Cash Card worth Rs.10,000 each circle group. The selection for the Bumper Prize will be conducted after the Challenge ends. 1 MSISDN across all Circle group who scores 1 point, in the challenge will become eligible for this prize.
  • One Individual winner irrespective of the MSISDN can win only one of the above prizes. In the selection of Bumper Prize and Second Bumper Prize, in case of a tie in the score and in the time taken to answer, 1 round of tie-breaker will be conducted for all the tied MSISDNs. In case of a further tie in the score and time taken, in the tie-breaker, the selection will be conducted by checking the time taken by the MSISDNs to answer x-1, x-2 questions in the tie-breaker. i.e., if the tie-breaker has 35 questions, and there is a tie in this, then, the time taken for an MSISDN to answer 35-1=34 questions will be considered. In case of a tie in this, then the time taken to answer 34-1=33 questions, and so on will be considered. In case of a tie in the selection in the Circle Free Bumper Prizes in Score and least amount of time taken, the MSISDN who achieves the score first in point of time will be selected as the winner.   • Weekly Bumper Prize (5 MSISDN Per Zone – 2 Zones – 8 Weeks) for 80 users Instant Recharge worth of Rs.500/-
  • First 5 MSISDNs per zone, with minimum score of 20 points during that week will become eligible for this prize. 1 MSISDN can win this prize only once in the Competition.
  • Weekly Prize (5 MSISDN circle group – 10 circles – 8 weeks) for 400 users Recharge worth of Rs.100/-
  • First 5 MSISDNs per circle group, with minimum score of 12 points during that week will become eligible for this prize. 1 MSISDN can win this prize only once in the Competition.
  • Daily First Prize (2 MSISDN per Circle group – 10 circles – 60 days) for 1200 users Recharge worth of Rs.50/-
  • First 2 MSISDNs per circle group, with minimum score of 5 points, on that day, will become eligible for this prize. 1 MSISDN can win this prize only once in the Competition.
  • Daily Early Bird Prize (10 MSISDN per circle group – 10 circle groups – 60 days) for 6000 users Recharge worth of Rs.10/-. The selection for the Daily Early Bird Prize winners will be conducted during the challenge. First 10 MSISDNs daily per circle group*, on scoring 1 point, will be eligible for this gratification. 1 MSISDN can win this prize only once in the Challenge.

Every day’s First question time taken will not be considered for winner selection
A Subscriber is eligible to win more than one Prize category during the period of the Challenge, which means that he/she can win more than one Prize category provided he/she meets the above said criteria of the respective Prize categories and gets selected. We would be using the name of the previous or current contest winners in the engagement sms for promotion purpose.

TOPUP CONTEST FLOW

1) All the top-up customers are eligible to play the top-up contest.
2) Once customer is top-up their mobile number, OnMobile will receive the request from network.
3) OnMobile will validate the request with the data base whether the customer existing or new to play contest. After validation the new user will be allowed to play free question and the existing user will be rejected.
4) OnMobile will send the engagement SMS to customer to play the contest.
5) Customer can subscribe the contest by IVR and SMS mode and can play contest only on IVR after Subscribing successfully for the contest
6) To participate in the contest all the top-up customer is allowed to play one simple free question through IVR and SMS.
7) If the customer gives correct answer the call will be patched to CVPS to get second consent from customer to enter/participate in the contest and also he/she will have conveyed about the charging information during the contest period. If customer plays the free question throgh SMS and gives correct answer and request passed to CVPS, then CVPS will obtain second consent through SMS to enter/participate in the contest.
8) If the user gives the wrong answer, then that user will not allow playing the top-up contest.
9) From the 1st day of contest the customer will be charged Rs 5/- per day and allowed to play 5 questions (flow is similar to Trigger contest).

• On all Challenge days, members will be charged Rs. 5/- and can play the Challenge.
• All subscribed users of the Challenge as on the 1st day of the Challenge will be charged Rs.5/- for that day from 01:00:00 hours onwards.
• If the charging is successful, user will get a confirmation SMS, along with the rules, Prize information & T&C URL, and the number on which he/she can call and participate in the Challenge.
• If the charging is not successful, then user will get an SMS saying he/she has not been charged.
• Every day, all active subscribers of the Challenge will be sent the charging success SMS (if the charging is successful), along with the number on which he/she can participate in the Challenge.
• All users will be charged from the day that he/she subscribes to the Challenge, till the end of the Challenge, or till the day he/she unsubscribes.

Detailed Subscription Flow on 56505077

  • Subscription will be open only in above mentioned circles of BSNL
    • User status needs to be checked before checking promotional question as user status might come as “Not Charged” and subscription_check as “false” in some of the scenarios.
    • Subscriber status in Top DB (galore db) needs to be checked before call starts and if user is not eligible to play contest, 'not eligible' prompt to be played & call needs to be dropped
    • Once a user calls 56505077, the system checks if the caller is calling for the first time and will be given first FREE question (if user has not answered the same on SMS). Before subscription, top up contest free question intro would play followed by promotional question.
    • Language selector to be presented to all first time callers.
    • In case the MSISDN has not subscribed to the Challenge through any mode, then, the LANGUAGE SELECTION prompts are played and caller needs to select the language. This language is stored in the Challenge DB, once the user is subscribed to the challenge. In case the non-subscriber does not select a language, upon max error he/she will be presented the UI in default language of the circle.
    • Then, the Portal Intro and DTMF will play as follows: Before playing the first question, intro will be played informing FREE circle bumper prize without mentioning price point
    • Post answering first question user will be introduced to the contest prizes and then the user has to press “1” to register for the contest , post which user will be redirected to the CG. Only 1 or 2 Key press will be considered as a valid input for answering the free question followed by registration process.
    • If user gives an invalid input then an appropriate prompt is played and Subscription option will be repeated. On subsequent invalid input two more chances are given to the user. If user still continues to give invalid inputs then an appropriate prompt is played i.e. upon max error the Call is dropped, after telling the user to come back and subscribe later.
    • The above applies to users who give no response also.
    • Barge in should be enabled while playing the above dtmf options
    • If the caller presses 1, he/she will be redirected to the Consent Gateway, where he/she asked to confirm again, by pressing 9. Once caller has pressed 9, then, first question is pushed.
    • User giving consent on CG will be considered as an Active user, charging will be Rs0. Since the charging information is not available with OM, Once the subscribed user has entered the Quiz application, a welcome prompt is played, the first time he/she calls, that provides an introduction about the Quiz to the subscriber.
    • If Subscribed to the pack, then, If the status is Pending, the caller is informed that his/her subscription request is being processed and once the same is confirmed, he/she will receive a confirmation SMS, and the call is dropped.
    • If the status is confirmed, the caller is taken to play the Competition.
    • If caller gives an invalid input then an appropriate prompt is played and the relevant prompts will be repeated. On subsequent invalid input two more chances are given to the caller. If caller still continues to give invalid inputs then an appropriate prompt is played i.e. upon max error the Call is dropped, after telling the caller to call back later.
    • The above applies to callers who give no response also.
    • If a caller has unsubscribed and has called back while the un-subscription is still in process, then, an un-subscription pending prompt will be played and the call is dropped

Contest / Challenge Flow on IVR Post subscription

• User can answer only after the BEEP.
• The Challenge is available on the Tollfree MM number 56505077
• Only those users will be allowed to play contest who have done TOPUP in the mentioned circles and whose mobile numbers are available in the file shared by BSNL circle in sftp path.Rest of the playing flow shall remain same.
• Challenges will be open only in the above mentioned circles of BSNL
• Language selection should before CG and before playing the 1st question wherever applicable. As, in some circles the language is default
• Once a new user calls 56505077, and there is no language set by the user then the LANGUAGE SELECTION prompts are played and caller needs to select the language. This language is stored in the Contest DB. In case he/she does not select a language, upon max error he/she will be presented the UI in default language of the circle. If he/she drops call and calls 56505077, every time the language selector will be given till he/she selects
• language.
• Once an MSISDN selects a language, then this language needs to be stored in the Contest DB
• If the user has already registered , the short intro is played.
• Once the subscribed user has entered the Challenge application, a welcome prompt is played, the first time he/she calls, that provides an introduction about the Challenge to the subscriber.
• This is followed by the Instructions prompt (INTRO_INSTR) – that informs the user that he/she can press 9, at that point or after listening to a question, to change their language or to know more about the Challenge.
• If subscriber presses 9, then he/she will be taken to the Info zone, wherein the user is given 6 options:
• To know how to play and win press 1
• To Choose your language Press 2
• For information on Prize press 3
• And for Terms and Conditions Press 4
• To go back and play the Challenge press 5
• If the user selects the language after pressing 2, then, he/she will be taken back to the Challenge where he/she can continue from where he/she left, in the chosen language
• Pressing 5 will take user back to the Challenge where he/she can continue from where he/she left
• If user presses any of the above options other than 2 & 5, then the appropriate prompt will be played according to the option selected and then the user will be taken back to the same menu of 5 options.
• If user does not press 9 then he is taken to the 1st question.
• If the caller calls in for a second time or more, without completing the questions for the day, he/she is played a short intro prompt.
• Total charged score will be played to user during the contest
• Then, for second and subsequent callers for the day, a score prompt will be played at the beginning if his/her score for the day is NOT 0.
• If user does not press 9 after this, then he is taken to the next question.
• Each question has 2 answer options
• Challenge will be on DTMF and subscribers can press 1 for 1st Option or 2 for 2nd Option on the phone keypad to answer.
• For every right answer the user will get 1 point. There is no negative marking for a wrong answer.
• After every right answer, the user will be played an appropriate response followed by the updated score and given the next question.
• After every wrong answer, the user will be played an appropriate prompt and given the next question.

First FREE question will play from level 1 of set1
1 question from each set will be pushed to user
The subscriber is played the questions one after the other till he/she finishes answering all the questions for that day.
• Subscribers who are charged Re 1 will receive 1 question
• Subscribers who are charged Rs 2 will receive 2 questions
• Subscribers who are charged Rs 3 will receive 3 questions
• Subscribers who are charged Rs 4 will receive 4 questions
• Subscribers who are charged Rs 5 will receive 5 questions
• If user gives an invalid input then an appropriate prompt is played and the question and answer options will be repeat to the user. If user still continues to give 2 more invalid inputs then an appropriate prompt is played i.e. upon max error after telling the user to come back and complete the Challenge.
• The above applies to callers who give no response also.
• To listen to a question again users can press *.
• If the user stops playing further questions, then he/she can continue playing by calling back on 56505077, on the same day.
• If the caller calls in for a second time or more, without completing the questions for the day, he/she is played a short welcome prompt followed by the score, if his/her score for the day is NOT 0, followed by the Instructions Prompt. If user does not press taken to the next question.
• If user stops playing the Challenge after answering the nth question then when he/she calls back on the same day, he/she will be played the (n+1)th question
• If user stops playing the Challenge without when he/she calls back on the same day, he/she will be played the nth
• which will be played randomly. i.e., if a user listens to the 4 without answering the 4th will be played the 4th question of the day.
• Irrespective of whether or not the user has answered all questions on a particular day, when he/she calls on the next day, he/she will be played the if he/she has answered the Questions for that day in Advance then the system will check if any Future Days Questions are pending then the same will be played, else a prompt will be played that all the questions for the contest have been played.
• Irrespective of whether or not the user has answered all questions on a particular day, when he/she calls on the next day, he/she will be played the first question of that day.
• Contest Intros to play randomly
• There will be a black-out 12:15 AM of the next day.
• After every DTMF input from the user, the system will check the time. In case the time is after 11:45 PM and before 12:15 AM, the subscriber will be informed that the Challenge is closed for the day and will inform the subscriber to call back the next day after 12:15 AM. The call is then dropped.
• If a subscriber calls between 11:45 PM and 12:15 AM, the same response will be given and the call is dropped.
• On the last day of Challenge, the exit prompt will inform the user that they have completed all questions of the Challenge and the winners will be announced soon. They will be informed about the upcoming Challenge if the details are finalized.

 
Roaming callers will be barred from playing the challenge.
As soon as user answers 1th question which means on scoring 1 point, criteria achieved prompt is played and SMS is sent to the user, informing that he/she is eligible for Circle Free Bumper prize.
