Public Telecommunications Company in India - Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited - BSNL network launches new 'Institution @791 CS369' high speed unlimited broadband plan for Educational Institutions / Schools / Colleges etc in Karnataka telecom circle over DSL / Fiber-to-the-home / Airbre network on promotional basis for a period of 90 days.

BSNL, the only public sector unit has announced the launch of a new exclusive broadband Internet plan for schools, universities and educational institutions for just Rs 791 per month. 

According to the latest information published on bsnl official website bsnl.co.in, new "Institution @ 791 CS369" plan is available with immediate effect only for schools / colleges / educational institutions in Karnataka telecom.

This exclusive BSNL educational broadband internet plan "Institution 791 " is available for BSNL Karnataka broadband customers from 5th October, 2021 onwards under promotional broadband offer. 

Educational institutions in Karnataka can take advantage of 'Institution 791 broadband plan' from state owned telecom company and can apply to take new broadband connective over copper or fiber or air fiber depending on availability in each location (Based on Technical feasibility).

PSU BSNL "Institution @ 791 CS369" plan offers download speeds of 100 Mbps on Bharat Fiber broadband (BSNL FTTH), 45 Mbps on Bharat Air Fiber and 10 Mbps on BSNL ADSL Broadband (copper). The static IP address is also available on the BSNL "Institution @ 791 CS369" broadband plan for an additional payment of only Rs 2000/- per year.

The above monthly rental charges i.e Rs.791/- is exclusive to GST additional tax will be charged in the broadband bill. The above instructions will take effect immediately on a promotional basis for a period of 90 days in the Karnataka telecom and applicable for all schools / colleges / educational institutions only. 

When any educational institution subscribe to the 'BSNL broadband new connection 791 plan' will get 24hrs Unlimited free voice calling facility to make Local / STD calls to any network in India. However, the ISD charges under this plan is applicable as per existing ISD bsnl tariffs.

Subscriber need to pay BSNL broadband new connection price 791/- in advance for security deposit at the time Customer application form (CAF) submission.

It means that the above broadband bsnl tariff plan will be available from 05-10-2021 to 02-01-2022 for educational institutions in the Karnataka Telecom Circle. This plan was launched by BSNL based on the special request made by BSNL Karnataka Telecom Circle for static IP address applicability in BSNL special broadband plans for schools / colleges / educational institutions.

To make the voice solution financially viable under the above plan for the "AirFibre" category, the voice service will be offered through the SIP platform by installing the BSNL WINGS app at no additional cost for customers who decline the high price of IP, telephone for voice calls. 

Therefore, the customer will receive voice service via the app or a regular telephone connected via Customer Premises Equipment / Modem (CPE), but not both.
