Public Telecommunications company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited - BSNL has announced extension offer on installation charges for bsnl broadband, landline and fiber connection plans exempted on promotional basis for a period of 90 days start from 02-11-2021.

As per latest information published on bsnl official website bsnl.co.in, BSNL's FREE installation offer is available throughout India (including Andaman and Nicobar Telecommunication Circle) for limited period for new customers who subscribed to bsnl landline, bsnl broadband and ftth connection (Air / Fiber).

BSNL to gain its subscriber base in fixed network market as well increase revenue has decided to extend the offer earlier announced FREE installation offer for new FTTH (Bharat Fiber), Air Fiber, DSL Broadband and Landline connections across India. 

According to the most recent information about bsnl tariff plans, the PSU has extended the installation charges exemption for a period of 90 days with immediate effect for all new customers in all telecommunication circles, including the Andaman and Nicobar telecommunication circles.

An official statement from BSNL regarding the launch of the FREE installation offer read as follows: -
In addition to the above offer, bsnl New FTTH customers will get additional discount of Rs 500/- for DSL Broadband / Landline connections and customers can enjoy free installation discount of Rs 250/- on their first bill. 

Double discount offer announced for bsnl new connection application submission i.e Rs.250/- BSNL installation charges waived off for copper connections and Rs.500/- for Bharat fiber connections on fixed line BSNL / broadband connections (copper / fiber / BBoWiFi / Bharat Air Fiber) on a promotional basis for a period of 90 days in all telecom tariff circles .

The above promotional bsnl offer will be available with immediate effect and available for limited period upto 31st January, 2021. BSNL corporate office has also instructed its field units to comply with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India - TRAI Instructions and guidelines issued from time time, and also to update the bsnl telecom circle website.

This is huge discount ever announced by any telecom operator in India during festival of Diwali 2021 announced Special discount upto 90% i.e Rs.500/- for all new Bharat Fiber (FTTH) connections activated as of November 1, 2021.

BSNL Bharat Fiber installation charges for broadband and landline customers waived off upon re-connection.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the waiver of installation charges for Bharat Fiber (over FTTH services), broadband and fixed line customers in Kerala Circle.

As per latest information from the bsnl official website of kerala telecom, the waiver of installation costs is only available at BSNL Kerala Telecom Circle for a period until March 31, 2021.

The PSU introduced a special scheme in an effort to get its customers back to join bsnl family and avail the good services offered by activating the closed connection. BSNL fixed line customers (Bharat Fiber or ADSL Broadband or Landline) whose connections have been closed until September 2020 can take advantage of this exciting offer to activate their BSNL Broadband or Landline connection.

An official statement on the launch of this special plan for Kerala Telecom Circle reads as follows:
"The competent authority has allowed the waiver of installation fees in order to restore fixed line, broadband and inactive FTTH connections (disconnected until September 2020) for a period until 31/03/2021 in the Kerala circle with immediate effect ".

Customers can activate their disconnected BSNL fixed / broadband telephone connection only after paying any outstanding fees. The scheme above is applicable from December 14, 2020 on Kerala Telecom Circle only.

How can I take advantage of BSNL's free installation charges?

BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH) or ADSL broadband or fixed connections that are currently in an idle state can take advantage of this free paid scheme. Customers can visit the nearest BSNL Customer Service Center (BSNL CSC) and submit a reconnect request to take advantage of this scheme.

Can I pay additional fees to take advantage of BSNL's free installation charges program?

Customers must pay all outstanding fees before taking advantage of this benefit. To find out the pending rates and submit a re-connection request as part of the free installation scheme, customers can contact the nearest BSNL Customer Service Center (BSNL CSC). After paying the pending fees, BSNL will issue orders for the reconnection of the closed telephone connection under the Free Installation Plan.

Can I select the new Bharat Fiber Plan Fiber Basic 449 on reconnection?

Yes. Customers can choose the recently launched Bharat Fiber promotional plan: Fiber Basic 449 (30 Mbps, 3.3 TB usage) on reconnect. However, the plan will migrate to the Fiber Basic Plus 599 plan (60 Mbps, 3.3 TB usage) after six months.

What will my tariff plan be after reconnecting?

Customers can choose any plan (any existing fixed line or broadband plan or Bharat Fiber) based on their choice on reconnection.

Is the above scheme applicable to new connections?

No. The installation fee exemption applies only to disconnected customers whose connections have been disconnected for a period up to September 2020. For new connections, the installation fees according to the table above apply.

BSNL to upgrade download speed and usage of existing Bharat fiber connections

BSNL has improved the download speed and pre-FUP utilization of existing Bharat Fiber (FTTH) connections across India. Existing BSNL FTTH customers can enjoy faster download speeds and usage at no additional cost / cost. 

However, this increased speed and data usage will not apply to the recently launched plans: Fiber Basic, Fiber Basic Plus, Fiber Value, Fiber Premium, and Fiber Ultra.

BSNL provides Free Installation for New Landline, Broadband and FTTH connection customer offer available upto One year

High-speed internet service provider BSNL has announced Free Installation for all new connections who subscribe to Fixed line connections across India.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) at the time of providing new connection to Landline / Broadband / Fiber Broadband (FTTH) connections won’t charge any installation charges, offering 100% Free for new customer subscribing to any fixed line services in all telecom circles from 18th July, 2017 onwards.

As per latest information, BSNL offering this free installation scheme for a period of One year. All new fixed line (wired) customers of BSNL can avail 100% discount at the time of new connection from 18-07-2017.

Official report from BSNL, ‘In order to increase Landline/DSL/FTTH connection base, to utilize spare FTTH capacity and to proactively achieve the Landline / DSL / Fiber Broadband (FTTH) connection, the competent authority has decided to launch new offer to waive-off installation charges for the new Landline / Fiber Broadband (FTTH) (Voice/Broadband/Combo)/DSL connection on PAN India basis upto One year’.

The above scheme will be implemented with effect from 18th July, 2017 and offer available in all telecom circles upto period of One year.

All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
