BSNL Launches Prepaid International Roaming activation cum extension voucher

Good news for International Roaming Prepaid mobile customers where BSNL has announced the launch of new ISD activation Special tariff voucher under GSM mobile international services.

4G Technology provider and Business Telecom Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited introduced lowest price International Roaming activation pack for Prepaid IR customer which is available at different MRP rates according to the availability of telecom circle technical feasibility from 1st October, 2018 onwards.


AS per latest information, BSNL on account of BSNL Formation Day i.e 1st October has decided to launch a special pack of Rs.56 (Karnataka), Rs.57 (East zone, West zone, North zone, Andhrapradesh including Telangana, Tamilnadu including Chennai) and Rs.58 (Kerala) which will benefit International roaming prepaid customers for activation as well extension of International Roaming mobile services. Prepaid mobile plan customer on activation of this pack will get 30 days validity (calendar days).


The above IR pack will be implemented with effect from 1st October, 2018 onwards in all telecom circles in accordance with 43rd amendment of Telecom Tariff Order and instructions / guidelines of TRAI issued from time to time.


All other terms and conditions will remain the same.

BSNL revised ISD mobile tariff for Belgium, Oman, Gambia, Niue and Mexico countries from 23rd December, 2016

Revised BSNL ISD tariff for Belgium, Oman, Gambia, Niue and Mexico call rates
Most trusted telecom brand BSNL has enhanced the ISD call rates for specific foreign countries under GSM mobile services.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) revised ISD tariff and pulse duration for countries, Belgium, Oman, Gambia, Niue and Mexico from 23rd December, 2016 onwards in all telecom circles.

As per latest information, BSNL competent authority based on the latest changes in the international carrier charges and change in dollar rates has decided to revise ISD calling tariff on PAN India basis. The revised call rates will be applicable for Plans with 60 seconds pulse duration, plans working on MCU basis (Metered call units) and ISD PCOs.

Simultaneously, BSNL also modified the existing call tariff for destination Niue and Mexico.


The rates of above countries shall be in 60 seconds increments with 60 second minimum.Whenever, the carrier charges exceed 80 per cent of ISD tariff the PSU will be revising the existing tariff.

The above revision will be implemented with effect from 23rd December, 2016 in all telecom circles.

All other terms and conditions will remain the same.

BSNL offers 3G Dual IMSI SIM Cards to all existing and new Postpaid mobile customers

BSNL 3G mobile services has announced to issue Dual IMSI SIM cards to all existing and new postpaid mobile customers for faster activation of International Roaming Facility.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on PAN India basis has decided to make available Dual IMSI SIM Cards to all new and existing postpaid mobile customers to avoid uncertainty of International calls.

BSNL offers 3G Dual IMSI SIM Cards to all existing and new Postpaid mobile customers

As per latest information, BSNL based on feedback received from various units and customers facing difficulties on International roaming facility to the existing postpaid mobile connection has decided to offer Dual IMSI cards.  


In this regard, BSNL has announced to offer and requested customer to replace their existing Single IMSI SIM card with Dual IMSI SIM card for availing International Roaming facility which naturally takes 3 – 4 days time and utpo a week.  It is also come to know with brief period where the services of the customer are suspended. To overcome these problems BSNL has decided to issue Dual IMSI SIM cards used for International Roaming facility in BSNL offered to all existing and new Postpaid customers. 


Issuing of Dual IMSI SIM cars to Postpaid customer does not mean that to provide International Roaming facility on their mobile connection by default but they have to request for activate the facility and there on accompanied process. 


In addition, BSNL Corporate office has advised all its Telecom Circle authorities to provide Dual IMSI postpaid SIM cards to replace single IMSI cards within a period. 


To avail this facility customer needs to submit necessary supporting proof documents along with request to activate International Roaming Facility and will be provided within hours of time.


However, customer has to deposit amount of Rs.5000/- against security deposit at his/her nearest customer service center to activate International Roaming facility.

PAN India BSNL Rationalized ISD Call rates from 1st October, 2015 onwards

BSNL Mobile has revised International Voice calling (ISD calling tariff ) across the country.

State runs Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced revision of International calling rates i.e ISD tariff across India from 1st October, 2015 onwards.


BSNL revised ISD calling tariff information Country wise.

The above Tariff will be implemented across the country in all Telecom Circles from 1st October, 2015 onwards.

BSNL Launches New ISD STV for Bhutan Offers to make Cheap ISD calls

BSNL New ISD STV (Special Tariff Voucher) for ‘Bhutan’ introduced to offer Cheapest Call Charges for Prepaid mobile customers.

PAN India BSNL has introduced a new ISD Special Tariff Voucher (ISD STV) of Rs.16 allowing outgoing calls to Bhutan under reduced rate for both 2G prepaid and 3G prepaid services.

Earlier BSNL introduced the same type of STV making calls to Nepal cheaper i.e reducing call rates to Nepal by about 35 percent as the Prime Minster’s Office raised the issue of high call charges to the neighboring countries with the Department of Telecom (DoT).

India’s most trusted Telecom brand Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launched a ISD special tariff voucher (ISD STV) of Rs.16 which allows people to call Bhutan at Rs.0.10 paisa per second against a normal rate of Rs.6.49 per minute.

With this new launched BSNL ISD Special Tariff (ISD STV) of Rs.16 for Bhutan, BSNL Mobile Prepaid customers can make voice calls in discount rates form their mobile to Bhutan code: 975.
The above ISD STV introduced under promotional basis for a period of 90 days and with effect from 28-11-2014.
Note: The date of implementation above STV may vary in each telecom circle according to the technical feasibility and availability.

BSNL Rationalized ISD STVs across Tamilnadu Telecom Circle in Mobile Services

Most Trusted Telecom Brand Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revised ISD Special Tariff Vouchers (STVs) and withdrawn Shorter Validity ISD STVs under GSM Prepaid Mobile Services across Tamilnadu Telecom Circle.

BSNL Tamilnadu Circle competent authority has decided to withdraw Shorter validity ISD Special Tariff Vouchers (STVs) for 7 days of Rs.9/-, Rs.11/- Rs.16/- Rs.18/- and ISD STV for 30 days to call Saudi Arabia and UAE of Rs.26/- also withdrawn.

Tamilnadu Telecom Circle has introduced new Special Tariff Vouchers (STVs) to make ISD calls (International Calls) of Rs.24/-, Rs.27/-, Rs.38/- and Rs.41/- under GSM Prepaid Mobile Services, the details are here under below:

  • All the customers who recharged the ISD STVs (both 7 days/30 days validity) upto 22-10-2013 will avail the respective tariff till the validity period of the STVs are over.
  • The above Revision will be implemented with effect from 23-10-2013.
