BSNL Meghalaya started 4G Services with free high speed internet usage

State run telecom company BSNL has started its 4G services in Meghalaya. 

BSNL services in Meghalaya were inaugurated by PLN Raju, director, NESAC, Department of Space, Government of India, in the presence of Chandra Sekhar B, Principal General Manager of BSNL, NE-1 Telecom Circle, Shillong. GG Shabong, Department of Telecommunications, MA Siddiqui, PGM BSNL NE-1 Telecom Circle, Shillong, D Giri, PGM BSNL NE-1 Telecom Circle, Shillong, PG Nirmal, General Manager BSNL, Meghalaya SSA Shillong and other senior officials from the Department of Telecommunications and BSNL were present at the occasion. 

The BSNL 4G services will be available in Umroi Cantt, NEPA, Umbir, ICAR and Nongsder.

The BSNL 4G services offer a higher data transfer rate, leading to a better user experience. Supports IP telephony services, interactive multimedia services, video conferencing and games. To take advantage of the high-speed 4G BSNL services, existing customers need to replace their existing SIM card with 4G USIM card to experience fastest internet services.

BSNL Launches new 90 days validity National Roaming Combo vouchers offer Free data usage and Free Talk value upto Rs.400

High-speed internet service provider BSNL has announced the launch of new Combo Special Tariff Vouchers (Combo STVs) for Prepaid mobile customers.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) specially designed four new Combo pack of Rs.381, Rs.701, Rs.1001 and Rs.1202, especially for North-East, JammuKashmir and Assam Circle Prepaid mobile customers offering Free data usage and Free talk value with recharge.

As per latest information, these four special Combo packs launches on regular basis for Prepaid customers which comes with 90 days validity. The talk value offered with recharge will be added to prepaid user main account balance.

• Combo pack of Rs.381 offers, Free data 2.5GB + Rs.75 Free talk value in main account + all Local/STD voice calls charged @ 55ps/min within the Circle and National Roaming (excluding Mumbai and Delhi) comes with 90 days validity. 
• Combo pack of Rs.701 offers, 5GB Free data usage+ Rs.150 Free talk value in main account + all Local/STD voice calls charged @ 45ps/min within the Circle and National Roaming (excluding Mumbai and Delhi) comes with 90 days validity.
• Combo pack of Rs.1001 offers, 9GB Free data usage+ Rs.300 Free talk value in main account + all Local/STD voice calls charged @ 35ps/min within the Circle and National Roaming (excluding Mumbai and Delhi) comes with 90 days validity.
• Combo pack of Rs.1202 offers, 11GB Free data usage+ Rs.400 Free talk value in main account + all Local/STD voice calls charged @ 25ps/min within the Circle and National Roaming (excluding Mumbai and Delhi) comes with 90 days validity.

Note: The validity offered with Combo pack is applicable for free data and reduced tariff only. Talk value will be credited in main account balance.

The above Combo packs will be implemented and available with immediate effect and applicable for North-East Circles, Jammu and Kashmir and Assam Circle Prepaid mobile customers on regular basis.

All other terms and conditions will remain the same.

BSNL Prepaid Data STV 56 withdrawn and introduced Data STV 109

BSNL Mobiles replaced successful running Internet usage Data STV 56 with new Data STV under GSM Prepaid plans services.

State runs Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revised the tariff for Data for the East Zone Circles. Existing Data Special Tariff Voucher (Data STVs) of Rs.56 which features of Free 250MB 2G/3G data usage comes with validity for 30 days.

In the place of existing Data STV 56 BSNL introduced new Data Special Tariff Voucher of Rs.109 which offers Free 300MB data usage for 2G/3G prepaid customers with validity for 28 days.

After consumption of bundled free data usage at the time of activation BSNL charges 2p/10KB for data usage.

BSNL has revised the above tariff and introduced new data stv accordance with the 43rd Amendment of TRAI instructions and guidelines from time to time.

The above replacement of new Data STV will be implemented with effect from 27th August, 2015 in East Zone Telecom Circles.

North East BSNL Prepaid started eauction for GSM Vanity/Fancy numbers

India’s most trusted telecom brand Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has started e-auction for BSNL Vanity/Fancy numbers across North-East Telecom Circle (Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram). The Competent Authority of BSNL North-East Circle uploaded BSNL Vanity Numbers online which are available for Mizoram, Meghalaya and Tripura customers participating to bid fancy numbers at predetermined rates. This offer is valid limited period for 10 days as promotional basis.
Customer can easily join to take part online bidding to grab their personal identification BSNL vanity/fancy numbers in two modes,
Online bidding
1) To participate in online bidding customers should register their mobile number by visiting BSNL Eauction Portal  for free of cost. The customer can select the number of their choice and proceed for registration of the same by paying non-refundable nominal registration charges against for each selected vanity number and will be included in the next bill of the postpaid customers and registration fee will be deducted from the talk balance of Prepaid customers.
SMS bidding
2) Without any internet connection customers can bid fancy mobile numbers very easily from their mobile sending SMS to 56666. For bidding bsnl vanity numbers customers shall be charged @ Rs.5/- per SMS and Nominal Registration Charges have to pay the customers which is Non-refundable for vanity number. The registration amount will be deducted from customers main account balance on choosing number. The bidding shall be allowed in multiple of registration charges (Non-refundable) above the minimum reserved price of fixed (Excluding Service Tax).
The BSNL Competent Authority of North-East Telecom Circle has fixed rates according to the levels of Vanity/Fancy numbers available in the Circle which is offered at base fixed prices. North-East Circle Customers can register their personal vanity/fancy numbers through Online or sending SMS from their mobile phone.

BSNL North East Telecom Circle Starts e-auction for BSNL Vanity numbers

By seeing Mobile users crazy about Fancy/Vanity Numbers, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) announced e-auction of BSNL Vanity number across North East Telecom Circles.

BSNL Competent Authority of Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura are decided to launch e-acution for BSNL Fancy Numbers Northe East Telecom Circles under promotional basis for a period of 10 days.

The rates are fixed according to the levels of vanity/Fancy numbers available across North East Telecom Circles at Rs.1000, Rs.3000, Rs.5000 and above. North East Circle Customers can register their personal mobile number on e-auction portal to grab their vanity/fancy numbers through Online or sending SMS from their mobile phone. Initial charges will be applied for each number registration (Non-refundable) and procedure guides about how to bid personal vanity/fancy number to participate in Bidding.
