Under rationalization of BSNL Tariff Plans the base mobile tariff is revised for all prepaid mobile plans in all Telecom circles.

Public Telecommunication company in India Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited - BSNL has announced the streamlining of all mobile tariff plans of prepaid bsnl in all telecommunication circles.

Nearly 14 existing base prepaid tariff of mobile plans will be revised according to 43rd Amendment of TRAI instructions issued from time to time on PAN India basis. 

This bsnl tariff revised charges of prepaid bsnl effected for voice calls, video calls, SMS (BSNL messages), data charges beyond free usage on specific base tariff plans of prepaid and inter-circle roaming for voice, SMS and data services in the Vodafone in Delhi network areas.

The following BSNL prepaid mobile plans are included in this latest rate revision: Prepaid plan vouchers: 153 /199/197/397/399/485/666/699/999/997/1499/1999/2399 and First Recharge Coupon 249 (FRC 249). 

Out of these 14 prepaid plan vouchers, the 997 plan voucher currently on a per-minute tariff will be changed to a per-second rate, while all the others will be on a per-minute rate. 

However, no changes will be made to freebies coming with BSNL PVs or plan validity period for any of the above prepaid plans of bsnl. 

The change in rate is only applicable to the base prepaid main account plan, that is charges for voice calls / SMS / data usage after completion of usage of freebies limit loaded with the plan of bsnl prepaid.

All prepaid user should note this main point that, in addition to the above, BSNL has also revised the minimum recharge amount of prepaid account for sending outgoing SMS using short-codes which are chargeable, which is applicable to all existing and new prepaid mobile customers across India.

Important Note:

The function of sending SMS to chargeable short codes is only allowed with prepaid voucher whose MRP is equal to or greater than Rs.147 (the smallest coupon with "unlimited voice function for 30 days of validity" under the prepaid GSM service).

All existing 997 plan customers with a per-minute rate will be migrated to the new PV997 second pulse rate.

Under Rationalization of mobile prepaid tariff plans BSNL revised 198 special tariff voucher validity and added extra benefit to users in all telecom circles.

Public Telecommunications Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited - BSNL has announced rationalization of mobile tariff plans of prepaid giving extra benefit by adding Lokdhun content to existing freebies coming with prepaid plan 198.

Now, Prepaid subscriber can enjoy a longer 50-day validity and free Lokdhun content which is already started from June 1, 2021 under data offering - STV 198 (Prepaid plan). However, when any customer recharge 198 voucher they will get revised validity of 50 days instead of 45 days and free Lokdhun content from June 1, 2021. 

Existing bsnl prepaid plans 198 data offers unlimited internet usage upto 2GB per day and BSNL Tunes for 45 days. Now, its revised to 50 days by adding extra Lokdhun content to per day data usage limit to benefit prepaid customers in all telecom circles.

According to the latest information of bsnl official website bsnl.co.in, this prepaid data rechage plan 198 will provide customers with a longer validity period of extra 5 days at no additional cost. 

BSNL has also decided to bundle this recharge offer with Lokdhun's content with effect from 01-06-2021 onwards. However, the existing BSNL Tunes offering will be removed from this STV after the fare review.

BSNL prepaid validity extension plans kerala circle revised in 2020

Several changes in rationalized in bsnl prepaid validity extension plans kerala circle. Instead of increasing the prices of its prepaid plans, the company has reduced the benefits associated with them.

BSNL has rationalized the validity of plans of Prepaid Rs 118, Rs 187 and Rs 399. A few days before this decision of BSNL, other telecom companies had decided to increase the prices of their prepaid plans.

The bsnl prepaid online recharge validity extension plans of Rs 118 in BSNL Kerala circle will now be just 21 days, while in other circles it is 28 days. Through this, continuet to be 250 minutes of voice call minutes per day, 0.5 GB high-speed data, free PRBT and 100 SMS per day.

Similarly, the Rs 187 plan has been listed on the BSNL Kerala website with a validity of 24 days. Earlier this plan also had validity of 28 days. The remaining benefits with this plan will remain intact as before. Users will get 350 minutes of calls per day, 3GB data per day, 100 SMS per day and free PRBT bundling.

BSNL recharge plan Rs 153 of prepaid offers 1.5 GB free data usage daily has been reduced from 28 days to 21 days. The validity of prepaid plan of Rs 399 BSNL has now become 65 days. Earlier this plan used to come with a validity of 80 days. This is the biggest deduction in terms of legality.

Focusing on remaining telecom circles across India, this plan still gives 80 days. As per latest information, BSNL competent authority based on hike in number of connections to BSNL network has decided to enhance the existing download/upload speed from 2Mbps to 4Mbps for all unlimited broadband plans without increasing monthly rental charges. Now, BSNL will offer minimum 4Mbps download speed for all DSL/FTTH broadband plans with FMC Rs.675/- and above. 

Most of the customer choice Broadband plan True Unlimited broadband plan 1199 is offering 4Mbps pre-FUP download speed till 20GB and a flat 2Mbps speed will be converted. In addition subscribed customer will also get Unlimited voice calling option to make voice calls to any network.

The above revision will be implemented with effect from 1st May, 2017 onwards in all telecom circles. Existing customers under these plans shall continue and will be arranged to migrated to other plans.

BSNL Revised sale price of Night Data usage STV and Voice Calling STV adding extra benefits from 21st January, 2017

Most Trusted Telecom brand BSNL has announced rationalization of existing Internet usage STV and Calling STV MRP rates under GSM Prepaid mobile services on PAN India basis.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) revises Night Data STV 26 and Voice STV 28 sale price in all Telecom circles which is available in rates of Rs.48 and Rs.62 from 21st January, 2017 onwards.

As per latest information, BSNL competent authority to benefit customer has decided to add extra talk value by revising sale price of popular and lowest rate Night Data usage STV 26 and Voice calling STV 28 without changing existing validity of 2 days.

Revised BSNL Night Data STV 48 (Earlier 26) offering, Rs.22 free talk value in main account + 500MB free data usage and beyond freebies, volume based data charging 5ps/MB from 02:00hrs to 06:00hrs with 2 days validity.

Revised BSNL Night Data STV 62 (Earlier 28) offering, Rs.35 free talk value in main account + all India voice calls to BSNL network @ 1 per 3 minutes and Other network Rs.1.20 per 3 minutes with 30 days validity.

The above revised Night Internet usage STV and Voice STV will be available from 21st January, 2017 onwards in all Telecom circles.

Note: The rate of STVs may vary in each telecom circle according to the technical feasibility and availability. However, the free talk value may also vary depending upon the STV availability and Price fixed by telecom circle.

BSNL revised ISD mobile tariff for Belgium, Oman, Gambia, Niue and Mexico countries from 23rd December, 2016

Most trusted telecom brand BSNL has enhanced the ISD call rates for specific foreign countries under GSM mobile services.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) revised ISD tariff and pulse duration for countries, Belgium, Oman, Gambia, Niue and Mexico from 23rd December, 2016 onwards in all telecom circles.

As per latest information, BSNL competent authority based on the latest changes in the international carrier charges and change in dollar rates has decided to revise ISD calling tariff on PAN India basis. The revised call rates will be applicable for Plans with 60 seconds pulse duration, plans working on MCU basis (Metered call units) and ISD PCOs.

Simultaneously, BSNL also modified the existing call tariff for destination Niue and Mexico.

The rates of above countries shall be in 60 seconds increments with 60 second minimum.Whenever, the carrier charges exceed 80 per cent of ISD tariff the PSU will be revising the existing tariff.

The above revision will be implemented with effect from 23rd December, 2016 in all telecom circles.

BSNL Offering Unlimited 3G data usage without any speed restriction for Prepaid users @1099 from 25th August, 2016

High-speed 3G internet service provider BSNL has rationalized the existing TRUE Unlimited 3G data pack without any speed restrictions feature in all Telecom Circles.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on account of Janmashtami launched paisa vasool Internet voucher offering Unlimited data usage @ 1099/- with 30 calendar days for all prepaid mobile plan customers under 3G mobile services.

BSNL has doubled data usages of its popular Data pack to 10GB which was earlier providing 5GB free data usage in the same cost for Just Rs.549/- with 30 calendar days validity. It is equivalent to hundred percent increase in data benefit to prepaid subscribers.

Rationalized Existing Data STV 1099 tariff details

As per latest information, BSNL Board Director (Consumer Mobility) R.K.Mittal said, ‘BSNL offer is unique and the sole purpose is to enable every section of the society with high speed internet at affordable prices. Last year, BSNL had also facilitated the customer by offering 80% cheaper voice tariff. By massive reduction in data tariff and introduction of unlimited data STVs, BSNL hopes to serve data customers - mainly youth segment in much better way. The above TRUE Unlimited data pack will be implemented with effect from 25th August, 2016 onwards on PAN India basis for Prepaid mobile customers till further orders issued.

BSNL Prepaid Mobile offers Always full talk value facility to newly launched ‘Student Special’

BSNL has announced to add more special benefits to the Student Special plan subscribers on PAN India basis under GSM Mobile services.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to add more features and always full talk time facility to recently launched promotional Student special plan under Prepaid plans mobile services in all Telecom Circles.

Under this plan BSNL will not allow other existing prepaid customers to migrate to Student Special plan. Only MNP (Mobile Number Portability) and new connection customer will be allowed to subscribe to Student special plan. However, those customers who have subscribed to Student special plan can migrate to other popular Prepaid plans which are available in Telecom circle.

As per latest information, BSNL competent authority offering special features to Student Special subscribed customers to enjoy Always Full Talk value facility on GSM Topup vouchers of Rs.500 to Rs.1100, Rs.1500, Rs.2000, Rs.2200, Rs.2500 and Rs.3000. Earlier this facility was exclusively offerd to Per-minute prepaid plan customers.

Student Special prepaid plan introduced in Southzone Telecom circles (Andhrapradesh and Telangana, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerala), North zone telecom circles (Punjab, J&K, Gujarat etc) as well Norht East circles.

Student Special Prepaid plan - 118 Tariff Details

BSNL clarification on Student special plan for new connections:

• This new plan is available to MNP and New (Plan can be subscribed by normal customer also) connection customer.
• Students who are under age 18 submitting a certificate from the school authorities along with supporting documents like Aadhar card (Voter ID card) latest passport size photograph).
• The customers who are above age 18 can easily approach nearest BSNL customer service center/BSNL Channel partner to take new connection.
• Free data usage 1GB (3G/2G) bundled with Student special plan to be consumed within 30 days from the date of activation. In addition, full talk time of Rs.10/- will be bundled with the plan voucher for all MNP/New customers.
• The reduced call rates of 10ps/min (All India On-net) and 30ps/min (All India Off-net) and SMS charges of 15ps/SMS will be valid for the first 60 days.
• After completions of 60 days all calls and SMS will be charged as per Per-minute prepaid mobile plan.

BSNL Mobile modifies Voice STV 201 validity period from 30th May, 2016 onwards

BSNL has announced the existing Voice STV 201 validity revision under Prepaid plans mobile services.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) reduces the validity period of the existing Voice STV 201 to 28 days from 30 days with effect from 30th May, 2016 onwards in Kerala Telecom Circle.

As per latest information, BSNL’s Competent authority according to the 43rd amendment of TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) instructions/guidelines/orders has decided to reduce the validity period of the existing most successful Voice calling STV 201 validity from 30 days to 28 days.

In this way Prepaid customers who recharges newly will get only 28 days validity instead of 30 days. There will not be any modification/reduction in the existing freebies. i.e customer can enjoy free 24,000 free voice calling seconds to any network. BSNL Mobile revised the existing 3G Prepaid Data STVs validity in all Telecom Circles from 1st May, 2016

PAN India BSNL has announced the rationalization of Prepaid 3G/2G Data STVs validity from Days to Calendar Days in all Telecom Circles.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revised validity of all existing validity of all existing 3G/2G Prepaid Data STVs on PAN India basis from 1st May, 2016 onwards.
As per latest information, BSNL the revised validity is applicable to all Corporate Data STVs i.e which are available on PAN India basis except Data STV 14, Data STV 68, Mobile TV packs and recently introduced Unlimited Data STVs under 3G/2G services.

BSNL pushed SMS alerts to all its Prepaid mobile plans customers intimating about revision of 3G data packs validity.

SMS can read as ‘Validity of DATA STVs will be in ‘Calendar Days’ from 01-May-2016, except STVs 14, 68, Unlimited STVs and Mobile TV pack, for which validity will remain in Days’.

BSNL has given clarification that, validity of all existing Corporate Data STVs will be upto 23:59 hours of last day of validity irrespective of validity on first day. It indicates while counting the validity, the day of recharge also will be counted as One Day (irrespective of time).

If a customer is activating a new 3G data pack of Rs.78 having 5 days validity on today (02-05-2016) at 2:00pm the data pack will expire on fifth i.e on 06-05-2016.

To get maximum benefit from BSNL customers are advised recharge Data STVs to activate them early in the morning i.e after 00:00 hours.
