A detailed procedure for knowing ‘Data usage’ through SMS

South Zone customers of WiMax (Andhrapradesh, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerala) can check their data usage through SMS as given below:-

Sending SMS from BSNL Mobile: Send SMS with the message wimaxunique id to 53733
 
Sending SMS from Other Network Mobile: Send SMS  wimaxunique id  to 9442253733
Example - type wimaxtb10000xxx to 53733/9442253733

Notes:
Customers by sending SMS or using SMS services for checking WiMax data usage can view current month only. The message displayed on mobile in terms of Data Usage Value (DUV) upto previous day only and today’s usage will be updated on next day.
Customers can know their unique ID for checking data usage through SMS and also available on WiMax bill as ‘ab1000001@bsnl.in’ the first number will be the customer unique ID.
