WhatsApp alternative Social Network App officially launched in India known as Mxit App


Popular African cross platform messaging app services and social mobile network ‘Mxit’ officially launched in India. The company is confident on launching this app in India to capture more subscribers to compete with Whats App in Indian market.

Smartphone Users like Android, iOS, Windows Phone and BlackBerry, Java and Symbian platforms Mxit is available for download. The company says that over 8,000 different feature phones, smartphones and tablets can run the application. Its USP is the reality that it can work on basic-data enabled feature phones too and can run on even plain-old 2G connections.

Along with messaging apps and Social network apps like WhatsApp and WeChat this app comes across a mix of multiple mobile based cross-platforms. Most of the elements on WhatsApp includes in Mxit design like double tick to send and receive messages. Dissimilar WhatsApp, still, you can create a complete social networking profile on the app.

Mobile users getting Mxit app can experience games, education, healthcare and community apps and allows business-NGOs platform on phones. The company says personalized platforms are available for organizations to setup to communicate with each other.

The company aims to make Mxit a promising replacement for SMS where features mobile users can send chat messages of up to 2,048 characters. Former South African cricketer Gary Kirsten, was appointed as brand ambassador for Mxit India surveillance has a pretty huge fan following in India. Mxit to capitalize on this, also has a Gary Kirsten app on the service, where users can get replies from Kirsten by asking questions.
