BSNL Rationalized Monthly rental charges for ADSL and VDSL Broadband Modem

BSNL rationalized monthly rental charges of ADSL and VDSL modems under BSNL Broadband services for the customers who opts modem on monthly rental basis.

India’s giant telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has enhanced monthly rental charges for CPE (Customer premises equipment) modems of ADSL and VDSL for basic and WiFi connections.
The customer who opts for modems on monthly rental basis will be offered revised rates of charges on modems, ADSL Basic Modem, ADSL WiFi Modem, ADSL WiFi-TA Modem and VDSL WiFi Modem.
  • The existing monthly rental rates for ADSL Basic modem upto 24 months Rs.50 per month and monthly rental after 24 months Rs.25/- is revised to Rs.70/- per month.
  • The existing monthly rental rates for ADSL WiFi modem upto 24 months Rs.80 per month and monthly rental after 24 months Rs.40/- is revised to Rs.110/- per month.
  • The existing monthly rental rates for ADSL WiFi-TA modem upto 24 months Rs.100 per month and monthly rental after 24 months Rs.50/- is revised to Rs.130/- per month.
  • The existing monthly rental rates for VDSL WiFi modem upto 24 months Rs.130 per month and monthly rental after 24 months Rs.65/- is revised to Rs.150/- per month.
Most of the customers are purchasing modems on outright basis without extra cost instead of opting of rental basis. BSNL replaces faulty rental modem with old recovered modem.
The above revised monthly rental on modems will be implemented with effect from 01-04-2014.
All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
