BSNL launched mobile security mobile app to track lost phones

BSNL new mobile app enables user a complete call log information of the lost mobile at pre-determined intervals to emergency number registered in the device. Now, mobile users now can track their lost mobiles, remotely lock devices and erase data under BSNL Value added services.

Most trusted telecom brand Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launched Mobile security mobile app allows subscribers to track location of their lost mobile phones, remotely lock the handset and erase data etc.
In association with Beyond Evolution BSNL is offering the solution, mSecure services to their customers under Value Added Services.

BSNL Director for Consumer Mobility Anupam Srivastav in a statement said, ‘Through mSecure solution services subscribers can remotely manage their mobile data or can track easily lost devices.
Security of mobile device has become a cause of concern owing to relevant data stored in it. Loss or theft may lead to unauthorized access and chances misuse of valuable data.

BSNL with this new service a automated service sends the location information through SMS to the emergency number registered on handset and alerts user remotely on the lost or misplaced mobile.
