BSNL to install Public WiFi Hotspots at 10 Historical monuments

BSNL is to set up 10 Public Hotspots at Historical monuments across India under BSNL WiFi services.

Most trusted Telecom brand Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) announced to setup its own operate Public WiFi Hotspots at 10 National monuments across the country very soon. Smartphones are playing vital role in connecting people to experience date usage on mobile phones. The requirement of data usage converted into huge necessity for high-end mobile users.

BSNL already launched attractive Data vouchers for prepaid customers, this STVs comes with 10 days and one month validity with 1GB free data usage.
Now, trend is moving to WiFi where people connect to Public WiFi Hotspots to experience internet usage. In this course to compete with Private telecom players BSNL also planned to setup its own operate Public HotSpots at Historical monuments where lacs of tourists visit all over the world to experience Indian cultural diversity and historic monuments.

Tourists from other countries do not hold a local mobile sim card and thus do not have option to access internet usage and are disadvantaged of basic connectivity. To overcome this problem state run company BSNL initiated to setup Public Hotspot to facilitate internet usage for tourists.

  • Fatehpur Sikri- UP West circle
  • Sarnath Temple- UP East circle
  • Konark Temple- Odisha circle
  • Jagannath Temple- Odisha circle
  • Bodh Gaya- Bihar circle
  • Shore Temple- Tamil Nadu circle
  • Hampi- Karnataka circle
  • Khajurao- MP circle
  • Thanjaur- Tamil Nadu circle
BSNL to announce WiFi vouchers or plans after completion of the above project.
