State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launched selfcare activation of Night Data STVs through USSD short code *444# for Prepaid mobile subscribers.
As per latest information, BSNL competent authority to ease subscriber at night hours for usage of Internet has decided to launch Selfcare activation procedure introducing short code for Night Data STVs for Prepaid mobile users.
Through this new USSD code Prepaid tariff users no need to visit BSNL recharging portal or any other mobile recharge website for activation of Night hours Data STVs.
Procedure: Simply, dial newly launched USSD short code *444# from mobile instantly a window displays as....
Welcome to BSNL prepaid service. Enter your choice from the following Night Data STVs.
1. DATA3 @ 2.61,
2. DATA26 @ 22.61
3. DATA46 @ 40.00
4. DATA63 @ 54.78
Enter Sl.No eg: 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 in the box provided below...
Then a message for Sl.No.3 displays as.. 'You have selected DATA46 @40.00 @1GB free, beyond the 5ps/MB from 02:00 to 06:00hrs for 2 days.
Enter 1 to subscriber # to go to previous menu, 0 to go to main menu'.
Night Data STVs ranging from Rs.3/- to Rs.63 with One day validity to 28 days validity (Calendar days). To avail this selfcare activation Prepaid users needs to maintain minimum balance on main account which is higher than recharge amount.
Prepaid Customers can also recharge Night Internet Vouchers by sending SMS also, the balance amount would be deducted from main account will be always lesser than the MRP of voucher. The service tax will not be deducted from customer main account balance since it was already deducted while adding main account balance of mobile connection.
For example if subscriber recharge Night Data pack of Rs.3/- the amount of Rs.2.61 will be deducted instead of Rs.3/-.
