Indian Largest Telecom PSU BSNL announced the launch and started its high speed 4G LTE Services in India for Mobile connection subscribers.
State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited launched its mobile 4G service in the country on 08th February, 2018 from Kerala Circle. After Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance Jio, BSNL makes available 4G network services for first Kerala mobile customers. Kerala circle is first to get BSNL 4G network across the country and BSNL will extend the 4G services to other circles in the forthcoming days.
As per latest information, BSNL commissioned its 1st 4G Mobile tower in India at Idukki District of Kerala State. Initially BSNL 4G mobile networks will be available at five locations – Udumbanchola Telephone exchange, Udumbanchola Town, Kallupalam, Chemmanoor and Senaapthi – in the high range of Idukki district.
Chief General Manager (Kerala Circle) Shri P.T.Mathew, speaking to media said, ‘The 4G service will offer higher data speeds leading to a better user experience. Commissioning of the service in other districts in Kerala is expected by this year and adding the work in this regard is progressing’.
The 4G services are already live and all BSNL Mobile subscribers across the Kerala Telecom circle avail the 4G connection switching to 4G connection. However in case of an existent customer need to get newe 4G BSNL SIM card from the nearest BSNL outlet to avail the services. If you’re a new user you may simply get a new connection or using other network can port to BSNL network through MNP (Mobile Number Portability).
