Two BSNL Prepaid mobile plans are launched for Bonalu Festival in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The telecommunications company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched two new long-term prepaid recharge plans Rs 1,399 and Rs. 1,001. To attract prepaid mobile customers from time to time, the company launches these new prepaid plans targeting Reliance Jio's prepaid plans offering attractive features and benefits.Bonalu is an annual festival of Telangana State celebrated in Twin Cities Hyderabad, Secunderabad and other parts of Telangana. The word Bonam is a contraction of the word Bhojanam, a Sanskrit loanword which means a meal or a feast in Telugu, is an Offering to Mother Goddess.
The company introduced two new prepaid plans to compete with Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone's Rs 1,699 plans. The new BSNL Rs 1,399 and Rs 1,001 plans are valid for 270 days.
Before presenting the new BSNL plans, they were initially launched only in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles. However, the details of the other circles are not listed on the BSNL Telecom Website.
On account of Regional festival Bonalu celebrated in Telangana Hyderabad targeting prepaid mobile customers has decided to launch two new Plan vouchers giving maximum unlimited benefits under voice, data and SMS segments.
However, these two plans are promotional period offers available for limited period of 90 days and based on feedback received from bsnl recharge customers the plan extended further across AP Telangana circles.
BSNL Bonalu Prepaid pack 1,399 details:
New Plan voucher Rs 1,399 available bsnl subscribers that offers unlimited local and national calls to any network number, except Delhi and Mumbai telecom network areas, where it has an Mahanagar Telecom Nigam Limited (MTNL) network.
In addition to this, it also offers an unlimited number of local and national roaming and call advantages and also subscribers will get up to 1.5 GB of high-speed 3G daily data along with 50 SMS per day.
The validity of 1399 prepaid plan fixed for 270 days and is available only for a period of 90 days on promotional basis from July 25.
BSNL Bonalu Offer Prepaid plan voucher Rs 1001 details
The next plan launched by BSNL is available for Rs1,001 and is almost comparable to the prepaid plan of Rs 1,399. The prepaid plan of Rs 1001 is cheaper than the promotional plan 1399. It also offers unlimited local and national calls and 50 SMS per day are the same coming with prepaid plan of Rs 1,399.It also includes unlimited voice calls to users, except roaming in New Delhi and Mumbai. In addition, subscribers receive 1 GB of high-speed 3G data daily.
This prepaid plan is also available for a promotional period of 90 days from July 25. This means that subscribers can take advantage of the benefits before October 25.
So far, the company has not confirmed when it intends to launch the plan in other states, however, both plans are valid only in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and the company presented this plan at the Bonalu Festival.

Recharge plan BSNL STAR 498 details
The company also launched a STAR membership 498 for its bsnl prepaid subscribers. It offers free unlimited calls along with 30 GB of daily data included with 100 daily SMS valid for up to 365 days.In addition, subscribers can receive Rs.51 discount on recharge pack 498 under discount offer.
