BSNL Broadband Tariff plans Monthly price revised up to Rs 30 Per Month

BSNL has hiked the broadband tariff plans rental charges of various broadband internet plans including Superstar 300.

Public telecommunications India, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) announced that the fixed monthly rental charges for its broadband plans will be revised from August 1, 2020. While several BSNL broadband users across India have received price increase notification in the Last week, BSNL Kerala Circle issued an official notification on the modified prices.

The increase in broadband prices occurs immediately after the operator has revised the monthly fixed rates for landline services. It should be noted that the operator offers 17 broadband plans across India, however the price hike is said to apply to seven broadband plans. BSNL noted that the increase would range from Rs 20 to Rs 30 per month.

BSNL FMC rental charges revised for various broadband plans

The operator said that the fixed monthly rates for its 2GB BSNL CUL plan will be revised to Rs 369 from Rs 349 per month. The 2GB BSNL CUL plan allows users to move from 8 Mbps to 2GB per day with the operator by limiting the speed to 1Mbps when the limit is reached.

In addition, the 2GB bsnl cul-bharat fiber plan offers unlimited calls within the BSNL network and calls worth Rs 600 to other networks. The 2GB BSNL CUL plan also offers unlimited calls between 10:30 PM. and 6:00 and unlimited calls on Sunday.

BSNL also revised the 2GB CUL plan which offers unlimited calls to all networks every day along with benefits similar to the 2GB BSNL CUL plan. The 2 GB CUL plan will increase from Rs 399 per month to Rs 419 per month.

The 3GB CUL plan which offers similar benefits to the 2GB CUL plan but with improved 3GB daily data limits has increased to Rs 519 per month from Rs 499. (BSNL Bharat Fiber 499 100GB Broadband Plan at lowest price)

BSNL has also increased the 4GB CUL plan which allows users to browse at speeds of 10Mbps up to 4GB per day and 2Mbps beyond the 4GB limit. The 4GB CUL plan also offers unlimited local calls and STD. The operator increased the 4GB CUL plan from Rs 599 per month to Rs 629.

Similarly, the operator has updated the 5GB CUL plan which offers identical benefits to the 4GB CUL plan but with an improved daily data limit of 5GB per day. The 5GB CUL work from home broadband plan was revised to Rs 729 per month from Rs 699.

BSNL rationalized monthly charges for the Superstar 300 plan

The operator also said that the fixed monthly charges of the bsnl superstar 300 broadband plan have been revised from Rs 749 to Rs 779. The Superstar 300 plan allows users to browse at 10 Mbps up to 300 GB with the operator, limiting the speed to 2Mbps when the limit is reached. Like most other BSNL broadband plans, the operator offers unlimited local and STD calls to users subscribing to the Superstar 300 plan.

The 15GB CUL plan is also said to have been revised to Rs 1029 per month from Rs 999 per month. The 15GB CUL plan offers identical data benefits over the 5GB CUL plan but with an improved daily data limit of 15GB per day. It should be noted that the 15GB CUL plan is only available to existing users who have already signed up for the plan. In late 2019, BSNL had withdrawn the 15GB CUL plan from new subscribers.

The operator did not increase the fixed monthly rates of many other broadband plans, including the existing base plan called the 50GB plan at the price of Rs 299 per month. The 50GB plan allows users to browse at speeds of 20Mbps up to 50GB with the operator limiting speeds to 1Mb when the limit is reached. Users enrolled in the bsnl 299 broadband plan 50gb can also make unlimited local and STD calls.

BSNL announced the revision of its various landline plans earlier in the week, including Super Value BSNL CUL, General FMC 180 Rural, 249 Urban, Value All CUL and Special FMC 495. The operator also announced that the bsnl virtual landline plan aseem offer a virtual service The landline number will be reviewed at Rs 99 for four months from existing charges of Rs 99 for six months.

The BSNL Kerala Circle announced that the Sulabh plan with Rs 120 which allows users to receive incoming calls only will be revised from August 1, 2020. The Sulabh plan would be revised from Rs 120 per month to Rs 150 per month.
