As per latest information, BSNL Competent authority has declared that ‘Customers are advised Not to Click on the Link provided for registration nor attract to this message’ circulating on social media especially moving on Whatsapp very fast.

This SPAM message claims that BSNL Unlimited 4G internet with speed upto 10Mbps offering through newly launched 4G Express SIM. Those who want to register for BSNL 4G Express SIM they can click on link provided as below to apply online and generate a bar code.

Actually this link message does not redirect you to BSNL Official website. This spam link redirects to another site which is not related BSNL organization. If you closely examine the URL in the message the ‘L’ in ‘BSNL’ is a Capital ‘I’ , which takes you to the ‘bsni.co’ website.

If customer attracted to this message and clicks on this URL you’ll be redirected to http://bsni.co/sim/’ or http://bsni.co/express/’ . There you’ll see the add for the 4G express SIM card and you’ll be asked to enter details such as name, address, phone number and state ect.

Thereafter, you’ll be asked you to generate a bar code and verify your address, but in order to continue you should need to send the invitation to 10 more friends or groups on Whatsapp from your mobile phone.

If you experienced and forwarded this message to 10 groups, the next screen asks you to install an app to verify the mobile number for authentication. The message also tells you not to Uninstall the app for three days and to allow the website at least 12 hours to verify the app installation. Hiting on the URL will redirect you to Google Play store and there you’ll be forced to install that spam mobile app.

At last, customer will be fooled and you won’t and without any results you were duped. For this process you did not pay for anything, you’ve successfully sent the spammer all your details such as name, mobile number and address what you’ve submitted. Finally spammers would collect all your data and sell it to third party in the online market or marketing companies for a hefty sum.

BSNL finally advised to all its users ‘This Fake news and website cleverly designed which will display ads, automatically redirects and force you to download mobile app’.

BSNL request all Landline / Broadband / Mobile customers to make payment of bills before 31st March 2016

BSNL Kerala Telecom appealed all its esteemed customers to make payment of BSNL Landline / BSNL Broadband also BSNL Mobile bills before 31st of March, 2016.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has issued a press release in which requested its customers to make payment of all monthly bills (Fixed monthly charges/Usage bills) before 31st March, 2016. 

BSNL offering affordable plans tariff and discount to all its valued customers who are under Mobile / Landline / Broadband / WiMax / EVDO / CDMA services. As it nearing to end of Financial year 2015-16 BSNL ahs appealed to all customers to make payment of bills before end of this March month. 

BSNL announced that all category of Customer Service Centers (CSCs) working across Kerala Telecom Circle are kept open on all days including holiday’s upto 31st March, 2016 to received bills and to avoid inconvenience. 

In addition BSNL also urged customers whose services have been temporarily suspended owning to non-payment of dues to make payment and take re-connection immediately.

BSNL already intimated that the bills paying from Online Recharge portal PAYTM will not be accepted. Paytm is not authorized partner to receive bills of BSNL services. 

BSNL customers can also make payment through BSNL Online services like BSNL Portal and through BSNL MY APP.

BSNL Free National Roaming in India FAQ for Prepaid and Postpaid customers

BSNL started Free National Roaming in India i.e Free incoming call while in Roaming in India without using any National Roaming STVs or plans.

Minister of Telecommunications addressing to a press meeting announced this Free National Roaming from BSNL for GSM Mobile subscribers. Then after BSNL state run Telecom Company given clarification on this new Central Government offer i.e Free National Roaming will be for only ONE YEAR then after charges will be applied for mobile customers.

Despite after launching this Free National Roaming in India many of customers raised doubts and same brought to the notice of BSNL officials. BSNL competent authority clarified all the queries raised by the units/customers and replied as below:

From which date BSNL free roaming offer will be effective?
BSNL Roaming Free Offer (free incoming voice call facility while in national roaming) has become effective from 15.06.2015.

Whether it is applicable for both Prepaid and Postpaid Mobile users?
Yes, BSNL Free Roaming will be available for all Prepaid and Postpaid customers.

Whether Free Roaming is applicable across India, including Delhi & Mumbai (service areas of MTNL)?
It is applicable across all over India including Mumbai and Delhi (service areas of MTNL).

Whether outgoing call charges in roaming is subject to the ceiling prescribed by TRAI?
Yes

What will be the outgoing call charges in Roaming?
Irrespective of whether subscriber has per minute plan or per second plan while roaming :all outgoing call charges will be as per the ceiling provided by TRAI i.e. the outgoing local calls are @ 80 p/ minute and STD calls are @ Rs 1.15 / minute.

No, Mobile Customers need not recharge with any BSNL Roam Free STV. Free roaming has been provided to our esteemed customers Free of cost (without any additional charge) for a period of one year.

Whether existing Roaming Free STVs / Plans will be available after 15.06.2015 ?
No. As there is no need so all existing roaming free STVs and RTP plan has been withdrawn w.e.f. 15-6-2015.

Whether a customer already recharged with Roaming STV having certain validity, and after discontinuing roaming STVs from 15.06.2015, he is eligible for Free Roaming or Not.

Security Agency advice No Sharing of Official BSNL Broadband Service connections over WiFi

BSNL Strictly advised all the BSNL employees holding Broadband Service Connections in Office or Home to avoid sharing of Broadband connection over WiFi services.

Recently on review of Broadband service connections working under monthly discounted rate across the country and running in Offices are sharing connection over WiFi Services through Wireless setup.
Special Advisory committee come to the notice of that in few Telecom circles, some office service Broadband connections are being shared over WiFi.

In this course, BSNL has decided to convey message to all telecom circles to avoid sharing of Service Broadband connection over Wifi. This may raise security related issues in case of unauthorized internet access over WiFi and it is very difficult to find the concerned people if details asked by security agencies.
BSNL also said that, if in any case of unauthorized access, the concerned official in whose name the Broadband connection user ID is working shall be held responsible for any security issues by security agencies.

The Officials of BSNL advised make sure that the working Broadband connections are connected over WiFi is strictly avoid sharing connection Broadband over WiFi.

Other wise if its necessary and are running the Broadband connections over WiFi BSNl advised to change the password for Wireless (WiFi) services in encrypted manner.

Note: Don’t share WiFi password with unauthorized official or individual try to maintain it as confidential.

BSNL releases caution alert to Job seekers against fake advertisement promising Jobs in BSNL

Most of the Technical Graduates are after completion of their studies searching for Jobs and concerned about to Join in BSNL. State Run Telecom Company has released a caution alert for Job seekers that they neither appoints any agent nor asks for any kind of money deposit for Job or Interview from Job seekers.
On observation and reports from Jobs seekers BSNL said that, certain individuals and agencies are approaching Job aspirants promising false employment in BSNL either directly or indirectly after release of BSNL Jobs notification through Press advertisements.

In this course these agencies pushing false advertisement on media that they will provide support for getting 100 per cent Job in BSNL through their agency and collecting money or deposits for application, processing, examination etc., from Job seekers against employment in BSNL.

Recently BSNL observed a particular misleading advertisement on media for jobs seekers applying to BSNL. “An Advertisement seeking applications for employment in BSNL reported to have been published in the Hindustan Times dt.26-08-2013. BSNL caution all job seekers that, such advertisement have neither been issued nor published by BSNL or on its behalf or appointed any agents for collecting money or deposits for job or interviews.
