Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Kerala Telecom Circle has announced good news about grabbing of 3,53,416 connections via MNP (Mobile Number Portability). According to the General Manager of Kerala Telecom Circle announced the statistics about MNP in Kerala Telecom Circle till 17th July 2012, from the total 4,63,661 connections the subscribers moved over to BSNL wherein 1,10245 connections were ported out from BSNL the net gain connections are 3,53,416.
In Kerala BSNL Telecom Cirlce only Kannur SSA stand top position in grabbing of 1,09,379 mobile connections followed by Ernakulam ( 93,865) and Kottayam (37,964) GSM subscribers correspondingly via MNP.
In this course BSNL Kerala Telecom Circle has emerged 2nd leading mobile service provider with over 72 lakh GSM under both 2G and 3G mobile services. The statistic details operator wise in Kerala Telecom Circle has furnished as below:-
