BSNL launches ‘MAHA 949’ Prepaid plan offers One Year validity Unlimited calls and Data usage, 100 Free SMS per day

Most Trusted telecom brand BSNL launches new Prepaid mobile plan for its recharging mobile customers offering special benefits upto One year. BSNL’s new Prepaid plan MAHA 949 is available on PAN India basis (except North East, Jammu & Kashmir and Assam) which offers Unlimited data usage, voice calls, SMS from the date of recharge for a period of 365 days validity.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is competing with Airtel, Relaince Jio private telecom players by launching affordable, lowest tariff and longer validity bundled benefits offering under voice and data segments.

As per latest information, under this MAHA 949 prepaid mobile plan offers Unlimited data usage ceiling at 1GB per day after consumption of this data the speed automatically dropped to 40Kbps which is enough to send and receive WhatsApp text messages. In addition MAHA plan subscribers also get Unlimited free voice calls to any network in HPLMN and National Roaming (except Mumbai and Delhi areas) and 100 SMS per day. 

However, all the voice calls to Mumbai and Delhi will be charged at 60ps/min. 
Note: All the benefits i.e freebies are valid between 0 to 157 days and for the next 157 to 365 days all voice calls will be charged @ 60ps/min for both On-net/Off-net voice calls. 

For SMS Local (On-net/Off-net) charged @ 25ps/SMS and National (On-net/Off-net) charged @ 35ps/SMS.

Plan voucher with freebies will be applicable for validity extension, migration and new connection.
