BSNL Slashed International Calling Rates upto 80 per cent in BSNL Prepaid and BSNL Postpaid

Recently Major Telecom Players have increased Data Tariff and International calling rates by upto 25% across India.
Leading Telecom Public Sector Unit (PSU) Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) announced good news for customers who make international calls regularly would get over 75 per cent cheaper. The BSNL recently introduced Voice/SMS/Data STVs in Prepaid and FMC plans in Postpaid mobile services across India.

The BSNL Competent Authority has decided to provide cheap rate International call rates (ISD Calls) to its customer in both Prepaid and Postpaid mobile services through STVs (Special Tariff Vouchers) raging from Rs.23 to Rs.41 and FMC (Fixed Monthly Charges) from Rs.20/- to Rs.40/-.
The company has divided countries into four categories to offer cheaper rates ISD calls similar to the normal calls, the details are given below:

• In Prepaid with STV of Rs.23/- customers can make ISD calls at Rs.6.49 per minute and Postpaid with FMC of Rs.23/- to the country Australia. SMS can be send for Rs.3/-.
• In Prepaid with STV of Rs.27/- customers can make ISD calls at Rs.2.99 per minute and Postpaid with FMC of Rs.27/- to the countries Bangladesh, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Thailand.
• In Prepaid with STV of Rs.38/- customers can make ISD calls at Rs.4.49 per minute and Postpaid with FMC of Rs.35/- to the countries France, Germany and UK (United Kingdom).
• In Prepaid with STV of Rs.41/- customers can make ISD calls at Rs.1.49 per minute and Postpaid with FMC of Rs.40/- to the countries USA (United States of America), Canada and Singapore. SMS can be send for Rs.3/-.
