CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) raids BSNL Offices

The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) has carried out investigations on staff working BSNL and booked cases on few Officials.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raids at Ujjain, Itarsi, Betul, Bhopal, Jabalpur and Dindori offices and filed cases against 14 people along with 7 BSNL officers for involving in fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 35 lakhs by submitting forged documents.

CBI a statement said, around 15 premises were raided, accused submitted fake maintenance bills of Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) and Digital Loop Cable (DLC) maintenance and made a withdrawal of Rs 35 lakhs from Hoshangabad and Itarsi offices for the period 2006 to 2009.
