Reliance Jio Fibre 2394 (Half-Year Plan)
Currently, Jio only allows half-yearly (semi-annual) plans for Jio's fiber broadband connections in the postpaid segment. At launch, Jio Fiber's monthly plans were also available for new customers to choose from. It means that a new Jio Fiber customer has to opt for a six-month (semi-annual) minimum plan which costs Rs 2394 + GST.
This plan comes with a download speed of 30Mbps and a monthly data usage of 3300 GB. After using 3300GB of data in one month, the data rate will drop to 1Mbps for the rest of the days. Customers can get bundled voice calling benefits with the Jio Fiber plan. If you need to get a new advance paid Jio Fiber connection, you need to opt for the semi-annual prepayment scheme.
Basic BSNL Fiber Experience 399 Plan at 30Mbps speed
As we reported BSNL launched affordable lowest price Fiber Experience 399 plan with download speed of 30Mbps.
This offer is available under promotional fiber tariff plans for new customers who are migrating to BSNL FTTH tariff plans from other private ISPs, it is just like Mobile number portability offer (MNP Offer).
The BSNL Fiber Experience 399 plan enables 1000GB high-speed data usage at a speed of 30Mbps. As usual as per FUP limit after consumption of free limit beyond 1000GB, the data rate will be limited to 2Mbps. Customers only have to pay monthly fees.
There is no mandatory condition to opt for half-yearly or annual prepayment plans to access the service. Customers who opt for the BSNL FTTH 399 plan will automatically upgrade to the 449 plan (basic fiber plan) after completing 6 months.
As this plan is launched exclusively for new customers, existing customers cannot change their plan to a Fiber Experience 399 plan. Currently, the BSNL Experience Fiber 399 plan is available in specific circles across India i.e in Kerala, Tamilnadu, Telangana and Gujarat Telecom circles.
Basic BSNL Bharat Fiber Plan 449 at 30Mbps speed
Another affordable high speed BSNL Bharat Fiber Basic Plan 449 is available with a download speed @ 30Mbps up to a data usage of 3300GB in one month. This plan is available to all new and existing customers in all telecommunications circles. (New Work from Home BSNL Fiber plan)
There is no mandatory condition to opt for half-yearly or annual prepayment schemes to access the service. By opting for the annual payment scheme, a customer can get one month of free service, i.e. pay 12 months and get 13 months of service.
Also, customers do not need to switch this plan to the Fiber Basic Plus 599 plan after 6 months. Fiber Basic 449 plan customers can continue with the same plan until they change their plan to any other FTTH BSNL plan of their choice.
Bharati Airtel Xstream fiber basic 499 plan
One of the Giant Private Internet service provider in India Bharati Airtel launched basic-level FTTH broadband plan at Rs.499 per month. Airtel offers a download speed of 30Mbps up to a data usage of 3333GB in one month (Compare to BSNL free data usage extra 333MB data extra offered to subscriber).
Customers can get unlimited Internet access at a reduced speed of just 1Mbps after exceeding this high-speed data usage limit (But BSNL offers 2Mbps speed data usage after FUP limit). Like BSNL and Jio, Airtel also offers unlimited voice calls along with its fiber broadband connection.
Airtel Xstream's plans are priced a bit high compared to BSNL and Jio. Service availability is also a concern for new customers, as Airtel Xstream services are only available in limited cities. The Airtel Xstream apps are also included in the 499 entry-level fiber broadband plan.
