BSNL introduces VSMS (Voice SMS) in North Zone Circle at Rs.0.75

 
In competition with advanced private telecom Operators State run telecom operator also finds its solution to attract customers and retain their subscribers to experience what private telecom operators are providing through VAS (Value Added Services) across the country.

Earlier GSM subscribers have only way to send SMS (short messages) in text mode from their Prepaid or Postpaid mobiles. There is only the way to send text message in International language (English) and it’s not possible to send text message in Indian regional languages to express mobile user views immediately.

Mobiles are not compatible to read all Indian regional language text messages across the country now things changed mobile users can send messages in Voice mode in their regional language at affordable price.

Voice SMS services in BSNL Karnataka Telecom Circle
India’s most trusted telecom brand Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) already implemented Voice SMS services in south telecom circles now its continuing its services in other North Telecom circles through VAS (Value Added Services) to benefit customers.
BSNL subscribers can send Voice SMS to friend/relative etc through VSMS by depositing the same to VSMS server. A notification will be forwarded to recipient in voice mode from sender.
Voice SMS services in BSNL AP Circle / Telangana Circle
The procedure for submission and retrieval of Voice SMS is under follows:
Submission
For Normal (Non VPN) customer:
A party customer can submit voice SMS by dialing +followed by ten digit mobile number eg: +9400024365
For VPN customer:
The subscriber has to dial/prefix 19001 instead *followed by ten digit mobile number eg: *9400024365

Retrieval
For both Normal and VPN customer:
VSMS can be retrieved by recipient  by dialing short code 19000 (in North Zone) or long code 7839019000 (in Roaming scenario in other Zone).

Charging
The submission as well as retrieval of VSMS will be charged at Rs.0.75 per minute.
The above service available in North Zone (Punjab Telecom Circle) customers.

BSNL Karnataka Mobiles launched BSNL Voice SMS services in Prepaid and Postpaid Services

 
Trend has been changed every category people holds mobile phone for their personal or office purpose. Despite holding mobile phone in emergency or at the time signal problem mobile users face problem to send SMS in their Local languages.

BSNL has initiated to launch ‘Voice SMS services’ PAN India for SMS sending, Replying and forwarding in Voice Format. Mobile users now can capture or record voice message in their Local language to express feelings or to surprise your favorite persons in Voice Format in cheap rates.

BSNL mobile users instead of using mobile pad and struggling for Numeric/Alphabet format, here BSNL simplifies the process to SMS in Voice format in their Local language.

BSNL already started Voice SMS services in Andhrapradesh Telecom Circle , (Telangana Telecom Circle) and now in Karnataka telecom circle offers at lowest charges, the details are here under follows:

The above services under GSM Mobile services will be implemented and with effect from 05-05-2014.

BSNL Introduced Voice SMS Services at 0.75ps per Minute in 2G and 3G Mobile Services

 
India’s-Leading Public Sector Unit (PSU) Telecom Service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced Voice SMS scheme under both 2G and 3G Mobile Services.

The Competent Authority of BSNL has proudly launched fixed price Voice SMS services across all Telecom Circles at uniform rate at Rs.0.75ps per minute for sending, replying, forwarding to any Local/STD while in Home network and National Roaming.
Now, BSNL customers can send their emotional voice SMS to their dear ones instead of using old typing each word and consuming lots of time.
BSNL enabled to its subscriber to send Voice SMS in their own regional language in an improved style of Voice communication in terms of SMS at cheap rate.

Procedure for using BSNL Voice SMS Service

  • BSNL subscribers don’t required any special device for settings for sending Voice SMS
  • Voice SMS service will be applicable for both 2G and 3G (Prepaid and Postpaid) Mobile services.
  • To send Voice SMS, Prepaid and Postpaid BSNL Subscribers have to dial *(Mobile Number) of the person, eg: *940024365
  • To hear received Voice SMS notification in the form on text message BSNL Subscribers have to dial *0*
  • Dial *1* to retrieve Old Voice SMS
  • BSNL Subscribers can easily send, forward, reply, save or delete Voice SMS message
  • Other network mobile subscribers will get a text SMS message with an embedded Direct Listen number.
The above new Voice SMS service will be implemented and with effect from 10-09-2013.
All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
