BSNL 4G plans service to launch in 130 cities and towns of Karnataka Circle

 

4G Technology services to be launched in 130 cities and towns of Karnataka telecom state


Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL), the state-owned telecommunications services operator, is expected to launch 4G services amid strong competition among private telecommunications service providers in Karnataka this year. According to reports, BSNL is waiting for the government to allocate the spectrum and the 4G service offer has been worked out. BSNL is launching the service at a time when private players pushing schemes in the market to attract customers.
4G Launched in Karnataka telecom circle

 Nearly around 130 cities and towns in the Karnataka state are expected to get 4G BSNL services. As per latest information, BSNL will install nearly thirty thousand (30,000) 4G towers across India and ten thousand (10,000) 4G towers in Karnataka circle alone. Government approval for the 4G BSNL proposal was all that is needed to start 4G services, said Karnataka Circle General Manager Mr.R.Mani.

 He also added, the 4G spectrum exploitation process began with the commissioning of a 4G Transreciever Base Station (BTS) at Shivamogga in March this year. Mani said that the circle of BSNL Karnataka is the second in the country to earn more than Rs 2,000 crore as income in 2017-18. The circle of BSNL Karnataka recorded gains despite a loss of 14% of revenue, while private players suffered huge losses.

 The state-owned company is also working on high-speed broadband connections in FTTH (Fiber to the Home) technology. BSNL is also updating its technology to improve the quality of the network in the state. The telecommunications service provider also adds 1,280 3G towers at a cost of 228 million rupees. According to reports, BSNL to support better internet speed is replacing old technologies with advanced.

BSNL deployed first 4G mobile tower in Shivamogga city of Karnataka State to start ultra-high speed 4G services

 
Union Minister of State for Communications and Railways Shri Manoj Sinha commissioned largest telecom PSUs 4G mobile tower in Shavamogga city of Karnataka State.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) lined to install its 4G towers across the country to start ultra-high speed 4G services for mobile users. In this connection BSNL programme was held at Dr.BR.Ambedkar Bhavan to install 4G tower in Karnataka city and inaugurated by shri Manoj Sinha Hon’ble MoS (C) on 24-03-2018.

In a statement Mr.Sinha said that ‘Dedicated efforts of BSNL employees, organization posted operational profits in the past three years. BSNL is upgrading its infrastructure and technology to extend quality of service and has plans to install 534 more 4G mobile towers in Karnataka circle in further’. 

We’ve noticed that private telecom operators are registering decline in the number of customers after the entry of Reliance Jio in the mobile market. Whereas, BSNL steadily increasing its number of mobile connections and BSNL introduced affordable mobile plans and broadband plans to benefit mobile customers, he added. 

He said, ‘BSNL laying optical fiber network under the Bharat Net project and achieving targets for providing high-speed internet services to rural areas through this project. Under this project the network has been laid 1.09 lakh gram panchayats by December, 2017. The remaining 1.5 lakh GPs will be covered soon. While accessing to Broadband services would bring about a comprehensive transformation in the social and economic life in rural areas, he added’.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the re-launch of ‘Vijaya 47’ Prepaid plan for mobile users as promotional basis for a period of 90 days under GSM mobile services.

As per latest information, Karnataka Circle based on huge demand from various units across Karnataka state has decided to re-introduce Plan voucher PV47 VIJAYA with revised freebies which gives more benefits to Prepaid users from 16th March, 2018 onwards.

Prepaid plan PV-47 offers, Unlimited Local/STD voice calls (On-net/Off-net) within circle and National Roaming (excluding Delhi and Mumbai) with 500MB free data usage for first 7 days. However this plan comes one second pulse rate voice calling and 180 days initial validity and Plan Vijaya allowed without freebies on migration from other prepaid plan. 

User can activate Plan Vijaya 47 through self-care portal by sending SMS to 123 as PLAN(space)VIJAYA. 

Prepaid customer who subscribe to this plan will get other benefits of Full usage value on recharge of Topup (balance voucher) of Rs.40/-, Rs.60/-, Rs.130/- and Rs.170/-.

Note: Migration/Validity extension is allowed without freebies.

The above prepaid plan Vijaya 47 is available from 16th March, 2018 onwards in Karnataka circle for Prepaid mobile users as promotional basis for a period of 90 days upto 13th June, 2018.

 As per latest information, BSNL competent authority of Karnataka rationalized the existing Combo Vouchers of Rs.158 and Rs.319 offering bundled data usage and talk value in revised tariff without change in the validity.
  • Existing Combo Voucher of Rs.158 offers, 250MB free data usage + Rs.80 Usage value with 30 days validity without change in freebies and validity.
  • Existing Combo Voucher of Rs.319 offers, 250MB free data usage + Rs.80 Usage value instead of 2GB free data usage with 30 days validity which is 50 percent extra data usage.
New Combo voucher of Rs.399 offers, 2GB free data usage + Rs.200 Usage value with 30 days validity.

 Terms and conditions:
Customer should note that the Free Usage value offered with Combo voucher will be credited to main account balance of prepaid account.

BSNL launches WiFi Mobile Data Offload Services for Prepaid and Postpaid customers

 
BSNL Chairman and Managing Director Anupam Srivastava launched WiFi Mobile Data Offload Services to enhance user experience.
Most trusted Telecom brand Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launched WiFi Mobile Data Offload Services officially in Bangaluru for both Prepaid plans and Postpaid plans customers under mobile services inaugurated by BSNL CMD Anupam Srivastava.

At BSNL premises in Bengaluru was organized and participated P.Nagaraju (CGM of Karnataka Circle), NK Gupta (Director CFA) in this event. After launch of BSNL QuadGen WiFi Mobile Data Offload services Karnatka Circle became the first state services offering across the country.

Under WiFi Mobile Data Offload service BSNL customer can access high speed WiFi data services whenever they enters WiFi hotspot zone. After off-loading mobile data traffic to WiFi hotspot, mobile users can continue to use their mobile data plan but for accessing internet they start using robust and high capacity back end connectivity of WiFi hotspot. 

Launching Mobile Data Offload services by BSNL CMD Anupam Srivastava, said, ‘Due to unavailability of equipment BSNL was pushed backward from 2006 to 2012, even though being number one mobile operator in India from 2002 to 2006. But, things have changed rapidly and by utilizing the infrastructure available and introduction of Data service the things have changed and Rs.672 core operational profit was earned for the first time in Financial Year 2014-15 after loss of Rs.691 crore in 2013-14 Financial year’.

CMD also added, ‘BSNL has started earning operational profit from 2014-2015 and it is expected to start earning net profit by 2018-19 financial year’.

BSNL launched Free Public WiFi services at Malpe beach of Karnataka Circle become India’s first WiFi beach

 
State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL has launched a free WiFi service at Karnataka Malpe beach making it the first WiFi beach in the three coastal districts of Karnataka Circle.
Malpe beach in Udupi district, become the first beach in India to have WiFi connectivity which is one of the main tourist attractions in southern Karnataka Circle.

 As per latest information form BSNL sources, BSNL offering 4G speed ultra fast WiFi services at Malpe beach.

 Tourists at Malpe beach BSNL offers free WiFi services for first 30 minutes at any time of the day.
Launching 24x7 facility Free WiFi services at Malpe beach Udupi MLA Pramod Madhwaraj said, ‘Free WiFi access would be extended later and services provided through BSNL network in association with Centre’s Digital drive initiative.

 At Malpe beach browsing speeds would be close to that offered by 4G per person per day. The department of tourism will pay Rs.1 lakh every quarter for offering the WiFi services.

BSNL Karnataka launches new STV offers 15GB Free 3G data usage and Unlimited Voice calls to Local/STD/Roaming

 
BSNL moving along with Private Telecom players in India by introducing attractive Data Usage and Unlimited Voice calls Special Tariff Vouchers under Prepaid mobile services.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched new all-in-one i.e Jumbo pack which offers Free Data usage, Unlimited Voice calls for both STD/Local/Raoming in Karnataka Circle.

To attract business and premium customers, who generally spends big money on mobile bills and recharges, BSNL has now introduced new Special Tariff Voucher in Karnataka Telecom Circle. This new STV allows customers to make unlimited voice calls to any network, high-speed 3G data usage under Prepaid plans mobile services.

New Special Tariff Voucher of Rs.3099 offers, 15GB free 3G data usage, Unlimited Out going Voice calls for Local/STD/Roaming (On-net) + 500 free Out going voice call minutes for Local/STD/Roaming (Off-net) comes with validity for 30 days.

New Higher denomination STV 3099 tariff details

 Prepaid mobile user who is having above Three thousand can recharge from their mobile by sending SMS using SMS activation keyword to 123 as DATA3099.

The above STV will be implemented with effect from 15-12-2015 in Karnataka Telecom Circle.

All other terms and conditions will remain the same.

BSNL Kerala Telecom conduct e-auction for BSNL Mobile Fancy Numbers (Premium Numbers) in November, 2015

 
BSNL whenever new level numbers generated uploading online for customer to choose their Mobile Fancy or Mobile Vanity number for easy remembrance.
State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Kerala Telecom Circle introduced again come-up with new Mobile numbers to sell online i.e conducting e-auction under various levels at fixed price through BSNL e-auction portal. This scheme introduced for limited period of 7 days as promotional basis across Kerala Telecom Circle.

Kerala Circle customers can participate for bidding BSNL premium numbers through e-auction web-portal or by sending SMS registering with current mobile number. This process is very simple and easy for customer to choose their level of numbers or choice number ending with 786, 999, 1234 etc.
Most of the business people use these types of Fancy numbers for their success where their customer can easily remember number to contact them without any hassle.

Bidding Procedure
List of Vanity Numbers 
The BSNL Competent Authority of Kerala Telecom Circle has fixed rates according to the levels of Vanity/Fancy numbers available for customers offered at base fixed prices. Kerala Circle Customers can register their personal vanity/fancy numbers through Online or sending SMS using their mobile phone.
The above bidding process will start from 20-11-2015 00:00:00 hrs and ends on 26-11-2015 23:59:59hrs.

BSNL Mobile Karnataka Telecom introduces NEW AMOGH Prepaid plan

 
BSNL 3G services introduced new prepaid plan ‘NEW AMOGH’ with Rs.87 Plan Voucher in Karnataka Telecom Circle under GSM Mobile services as promotional basis for a period of 90 days.

State runs Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced NEW AMOGH Prepaid plan comes with Plan voucher of Rs.87 offers Free 30 minutes to Local/STD to On-net/Off-net with Free 50MB data usage for Prepaid plans users. 

Prepaid customer under this plan can make voice calls to Local/STD (Fixed/Mobile) @35ps/second to On-net and for Off-net Local/STD (Fixed/Mobile) @45ps/second. Video call Local/STD (On-net/Off-net) charges @4ps/second with Free incoming Video call option. Customer will charge Local/National (On-net/Off-net) @25ps/sms, International @Rs.5 per SMS and Delivery report charges @NIL, Missed Call Alert @Free.

National Roaming voice calls for Local/STD On-net/Off-net @80ps/min with Free National Roaming to receive free incoming call any where in India. National Roaming SMS @25ps/sms, International Rs.5/sms while incoming SMS NIL charges. 
The NEW AMOGH Prepaid plan tariff details
Prepaid users of other prepaid plans can migrate to this new AMOGH prepaid plan using migration voucher i.e Plan Voucher PV87. Migration from Amogh to other plan is allowed using applicable prepaid plan voucher (Plan Validity Vouchers) available in Karnataka Circle.

The above AMOGH (Modified) Promotional offer prepaid plan will be implemented with effect from 30-10-2015 to 27-01-2016 for a period of 90 days under mobile services in Karnataka Circle.

Note: The above plans Plan Voucher PV87 is made available for all new and migration customers. All types of STVs are applicable to PV87 plan.

BSNL Karnataka Telecom introduce three new ‘Value for Money’ Combo STVs

 
BSNL Mobile launched new three Combo Special Tariff Vouchers (Combo STVs) ‘Value for Money’ for Karnataka Telecom Circle Prepaid customers under GSM mobile services.

State runs Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced to launch new Combo Special Tariff Voucher (Combo STVs) for both Voice calling and Internet usage under Prepaid plans mobile services in Karnataka Circle.

BSNL already running 3G special Data usage vouchers in Karnataka circle in addition these voucher new 3 Combo STVs of Rs.158, Rs.319 and Rs.329 are introduced for Karnataka Prepaid customers.
  • Combo STV of Rs.158 offers 250MB Free 3G Data Usage with Rs.100 talk value for voice calls comes with validity for 30 days.
  • Combo STV of Rs.319 offers 2GB Free 3G Data Usage with Rs.100 talk value for voice calls comes with validity for 30 days.
    Combo STV of Rs.329 offers 1GB Free 3G Data Usage with Rs.200 talk value for voice calls comes with validity for 30 days.

The freebies, free data usage and free voice calling talktime comes with Combo STVs can avail in their home circle or while in roaming. After consumption of free data usage prepaid users will be charged 2ps/10Kb. 

Recently BSNL Karnataka Circle Revised Postpaid Plan 325
 
Few days back BSNL has withdrawn 3G data usage prepaid STV of Rs.56, Rs.68, Combo STV 298 and Combo STV of Rs.299 in that region. However, BSNL focusing on upcoming festival season again tried to offer value for customer’s money with these new launches of Combo STVs for Karnataka Circle customers.

The above Combo STVs will be available for Prepaid customers upto 29th November, 2015 as promotional basis.

BSNL Karnataka Telecom Circle Revised Postpaid Plan 325 Tariff

 
BSNL Mobile increased Pulse rate for Local/STD Call from 15seconds to 30 seconds for Postpaid plan 325 in Karnataka Telecom Circle under GSM Postpaid services.

State runs Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) revised tariff of Fixed Monthly Charges (FMC plan) existing Postpaid plan 325 in Karnataka Telecom circle.

BSNL existing postpaid plan 325 Free call/usage worth of Rs.300 has reduced to Rs.270 and increased pulse rate for Local/STD call from 15 seconds to 30 seconds following TRAI guidelines and Instructions time to time

Under this Plan-325 all locals to On-net charge at 0.3ps and to Off-net 0.5ps for STD calls to On-net/Off-net charges 0.5ps comes with 250MB free data usage in Home LSA for Karnataka Telecom Circle mobile users.

Revised Postpaid Plan-325 tariff details 

The above rationalization of Postpaid mobile plan 325 will be implemented with effect from 01-09-2015.
